That's a shame. I have 9 DS games, and Meteos gets the most time.

It's weird that the game that gets the less time is the best selling game, SM64DS.

Poor Geist.  Poor, poor Geist.
Why must all things be so bright? Why can things not appear only in hues of brown! I am so serious about this! Dull colors are the future! The next generation! I will never accept a world with such bright colors! It is far too childish! I will rage against your cheery palette with my last breath!

Did they even advertise geist? I don't remember seeing a single commercial. Nintendo really needs to ramp up the advertising budget and get some fresh minds in on the advertising campaign train.

They should have advertised the hell out of this game right before 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose' movie
They should also update their demo kiosk more than every 4-6 months... is there even a demo out?

There's been a demo out for a while now, and there were planty of commercials for about 2-3 weeks.  Nintendo probably knew this game was doomed form the start though, so why waste a ton of advertising money on it?  A mature rated first person adventure game with mediocre graphics released late on the gamecube does not sound like a winner no matter how much you push it.

See? this is why we will get Mario Party 23 before we get a Geist 2.  Or Eternal Darkness 2, or Killer 7 2, or Beyond Good & Evil 2...

well I hate MTV and only watch it accidentally when someone else already has it on the TV.
although I do like one show on MTV - Nick Cannons Wild'N'Out

I think I saw one commercial once and that was it, they should have just delayed it to REV and completely revamped the graphics for next-gen, needless to say I will buy the game once it hits the $20.00 bargain bin (which should be pretty soon)

They need to advertise on TCM. Then I can see the commercials and feel confident that NOA are on the right Track. Also VH1 Classic.

The amazing looking white PSP came out on the 15th, along with the Winning Eleven Game. We'll see how this combo does soon enough.

Media Create 9/12-9/18

1 PS2 Shin Sanghoku Musou 4 Moshouden (???) - 203,000 (NEW)
2 GBA Famicom Mini: Super Mario Brothers (Nintendo) - 187,000 (NEW)
3 NDS Tamagotchi (???) - 150,000 (150,000)
4 PSP WE9 UE (Konami) - 107,000 (NEW)
5 GBA Super Robot Taisen J (???) - 95,000 (NEW)
6 NDS Gyakuten Saiban DS (Capcom) - 65,000 (NEW)
7 GBA Dr. Mario + Panel de Pon (Nintendo) - 53,000 (NEW)
8 NDS Brain Training (Nintendo) - 37,000 (552,000)
9 GBA Mario Tennis Advance (Nintendo) - 34,000 (NEW)
10 NDS Yawaraka Atamajuku (Nintendo) - 24,000 (491,000)

Insane sales by Super Mario Bros re-re-re-re-release. PSP's "killer app" got  beaten by Tamagotchi on DS. Phoenix Wright (Gyakuten Saiban DS) actually has another limited edition version which sold about the same as it in the daily charts, so it's probably like #11 or #12 here, so the game did very well. Also incredible continued sales from both Brain Trainings, which are now over a million combined. It's impressive they stayed on with all these new releases, they'll probably move back UP after this.

Third pillar indeed.

Hardware sales soon.

Hahaha, that was the only chance PSP had of outselling DS for the rest of the year, looks like my "PSP will never outsell DS again" prediction from a few months ago was right.

I doubt Sony is crying.  55,000 is fine, I bet the PSP is doing better than any Sega system ever has in Japan, and probably better than the N64, too.
That's my opinion, not yours.

Sony crying? More like advertising the heck out of PSP. I've started to see the same launch adds running almost on every channel, exclusives on the PSP's capabilities on local newspapers and even on local radio. It's crazy.
