The truth of the matter is that ever so often a store moves around some stock of Xboxs and finds, to their amazement, some old GBA hidden behind them.

I wonder if those DSL numbers will stay up when it's released in Europe, US, and Australia.  Will Nintendo keep the same allocation numbers in Japan along with the shipments to the other territories?

They're stockpiling for those launches right now, and likely have been for a couple months, so I don't think supplies will fall too hard.

Doesn't NSMB come out this week, though? That should be huge...

I'm sure you saw it in the other thread, but 480,000 copies sold of NSMB on release date - click here >Link is right >here<< = #1 best selling Mario &/or DS game to date in first day &/or 1st week ever. And this IS just the first day sales!!!!

For portables sure and DS absolutly, but for any one game to sell that well in 4 days? Do not Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest games sell 1,000,000's on their first few days of release in Japan?

I think there is a very good chance that FFIII will be a big hit. Heck I don't even care much for the FF series but I'm excited for this one .

Since the reveal of the new look of the remake on DS, the game has shot to number 1 on Famitsu's Most Wanted chart... of course, FF games are usually number one on that list.  FFXIII will probably be in the top 3 in the next two weeks or so.
