If that's your definition of a sandwich, then the KFC Double Down isn't a sandwich.

The NHL isn’t in the bubble yet, right now they’re at the individual team facilities getting ready for that. It seems like some of the positive tests there are guys who showed up for training camp, got tested when they got there as part of the protocol, and tested positive without realizing they had it.

It's like when one of your favorite players is in the tail end of his career, and he clearly isn't what he was at his peak. Sure, you want to remember him for all the good times, but you still can't help but feel a little wistful about the one-time legend who the game has passed by.

5
Well if you really come here that often and it took you until now to come up with that pretty mediocre pun I understand why you don't ever seem to post when you come here since you used up all your A material on that.

6
That wasn’t me. My guess is someone, probably Crimm, saw me badmouthing the rest of the staff’s attitude toward the forums in the Discord and decided to do that and then never interact with the community at all, therefore proving my point.

7
Vegas is all but a lock to be one of the NHL's hub cities, so it's not like that would stop them.

8
Other states would have allowed it. The NHL is using two hub cities for their playoffs and it doesn't look like either one is going to be in Florida. They're playing in Florida because Disney/ESPN wanted them there, and because they have the facilities necessary to hold that many teams.

9
The NHL, which is a league comprised predominantly of not black men, is doing something very similar, so I don't think the optics are as bad as they're making them out to be. Don't get me wrong, I'm very in favor of the Black Lives Matter movement and what they're fighting for, but drawing a line between that and this is pretty tenuous.

Pokepal still uses a Blackberry, he's not the kind of person to ever let outdated tech go.

Of course I picked this week to not buy any.

I wasn't really planning on buying either of the new consoles anytime soon before this, and I thought the Xbox Series X was the more appealing of the two, and nothing shown today changed either of those things.

That's about what the 1 TB cards are going for these days. I actually paid a little less than that about a month ago.

14
Living that terabyte kinda lifestyle is the only way to go. Anything less is just stifling.

I've got 130 bells if anyone needs to unload any at the last minute. Let me know quick, as my Nook's is closing in an hour.

Aaron isn’t really here anymore, and I have no idea how to do it, so I would have to convince the new webmaster to make the change. I was hoping to wait for the new major update to SMF that’s been on release candidate 2 for a long time now, but that has not been forthcoming.

MLS is also looking at playing at Disney, and the NHL's plan involves two hub cities, one for each conference. The only American league that's planning on any travel anytime soon is baseball.

19
It seems like the NBA should do something along the line of what the NHL's doing, with an expanded playoff field and a round robin setup for seeding to get the teams back in form beforehand.

I don't finish a lot of games, but SteamWorld Heist really grabbed me and I just finished off the final boss. Of course, after priding myself on getting all the stars on every mission, one of my characters died when the boss had only 4 HP remaining and cost me one, so I know I'll end up going back and fixing that.

Yeah this is a good game, writing's decent too. Did you use all of the characters Insano? I kinda found myself sticking to a rotation of maybe the first 6 or so, there were 2 or 3 I almost never used because they arrived either underleveled or just seemed weaker.

I mostly stuck with the same crew. They were always the highest leveled ones I had and I was used to their abilities. I forget her name, but the one with the Kill Shot power was incredibly useful once you got the hang of planning around that ability.

The Switch has an incredible lineup of indie games, but I truly believe this game stands with titles like Celeste and Stardew Valley as among the very best examples on the system. Playing a turn-based strategy game from the side-on perspective really changes how you think about it, and the game offers enough different weapon types and special abilities to keep it fresh the whole way through. SteamWorld Dig got a sequel, which is also great, and I really hope Image & Form is able to go back and make a sequel to Heist that expands upon it to the same degree.

I haven't watched that much of the animated series, but it had some neat ideas. They really embraced the format, doing some things with alien crewmembers that would have been tough to pull off even with the effects budget of something like Discovery.

Khush's mod powers are revoked.

What's the point? We clearly just fundamentally disagree about this, nothing's going to change that. I never should have posted about this, I should have known this would be the result.

I disagree with your interpretation, so obviously I don't know anything about it. This is really the core of the problem we've had with this thread, where you act like your opinion is objective truth, and anyone who sees things differently is stupid and doesn't understand what it really is.
