General Chat / Funny discussion with an Xbox owner

Normally I don't get dragged into a brag fest amongst fan-boys; but today I couldn't helpmyself.
My neighbour was telling us about his Xbox..cool. He asked me what I played, which I replied GameCube. Well, the slags started flying. "Xbox trounced GameCube last year"; to which I replied, "no - check your facts" and mentioned a couple of stats I heard on the forums. "Madden isn't available on Cube" - to which I replied "no -check any store. Various other dumbass statements like this came from him. Finally, what seemed to be the last desperate comment from him to prove the worth of Xbox "Xbox system and processor kicks the ass of anything else; especially GameCube" - my reply "If it is so great, why is Microsoft using ATI and IBM as the source of their next processors and chipset???" Sure, we know the answer is the falling out between MS and Nvidia - but he didn't know that.
Anyway - I wish people would just enjoy games and celebrate what each system has their own stand out attributes - versus trying to brainwash others why their system of choice sucks.
