The menu! What's going to be playable? I guess the main question is...what's ready?
On The E3 Show Floor:
I believe Nintendo will have only 10-16 GameCube titles playable. This number seems a little low, but after taking into consideration Nintendo’s strict policy on quality, unless the game looks polished, it probably won’t be shown. As far as the GBA, there’s going to be a TON of GBA games on display. You could even put me on record as saying, “There will be a buttload of GBA for yo’ ass at E3 2001”. Here’s my list of the Nintendo love:
GameCube playable titles:
Mario/Luigi
Metroid
Wave Race
Pokemon Title
Rogue Squadron 2
Madden 2001
Eternal Darkness
Turok 4
Smash Bros. 2
Zelda
Dino Planet / Star Fox Adventures
Sonic Adventure
Killer Instinct 3
Crazy Taxi
Resident Evil Title
Monkey Ball
SSX
Virtua Striker 4
Resident Evil
Most of the above titles aren’t too surprising. I think there’s going to be a zinger or two added that we don’t know about, or aren’t expecting. There always is. Nintendo always has a way of keeping a lot under the radar. But the above list is a well rounded GameCube line up for E3. It’s really hard to say what could actually be shown, or playable for that matter. I’m sure we’ll also see a couple titles on video that are still to early in development. If it doesn’t look really good, it’s not going to be shown. Nintendo will hold true to their quality standards. Especially when the stakes are as high as they are now.

Wario Land 4
X-Men: Reign of Apocalypse
Alone in the Dark
Earthbound Advance
Yoshi’s Island/Yoshi’s Story
Super Smash Bros. GBA
Zelda Advance
I think this list is even too short. Game Boy Advance will have a much bigger line up due to the fact that the hardware has been done for much longer than GameCube, and their development kits have been in the hands of developers for more than a year. This list could actually be light. There will be many link up options on display to demonstrate the GBA’s awesome multiplayer capabilities.
