Serendipity is when a RiffTrax game comes out on the week of Star Wars Day (May 6).
Things we missed last week: Archives release is Namco's JP/Asia only release Youkai Douchuki. Also, if someone reading this can read Japanese and has an interest in strategy RPGs, LilyDeux Black Lily Warning dropped last week and claims to be a SRPG that does not use random number generations (accuracy, critical hits) but is also Japanese-language only despite a worldwide release.

And now we know why Alex got an inordinate amount of flack for his (correct) Rune Factory 5 review.
A slightly delayed sales survey from the NPD Group indicated a big month for Nintendo in the US market.
All data based on sales from February 27 - April 2 in dollars, unless noted otherwise. Nintendo does not offer eShop data, but other publishers have the option.

Bugsnax, baby Bugsnax... Bugsnax, we don't take crap...
Things we missed last week: Gaplus (1984 Galaga sequel) joined the Archives.
It's very weird when the Nintendo first party title is the cheapest retail game of the week, but such is fate with this week's biggest release: Nintendo Switch Sports. At the very least, I'll actually need to charge the... Read more...

No kissing girls or chili dogs, just a first level of SPEED and then some platforming.

No surprise that this week is apparently headlined by the crossover from hell and the latest remake in that Spaceballs parody series.
Things we missed last week: The Archives title is Namco's The Legend of Valkyrie, Indie World veteran Don't Starve Together shadowdropped on Tuesday, and Thursday saw a new platformer from Fabraz in Demon Turf: Neon Splash - also, in a ridiculous move a 2019-in-Japan visual novel collection that literally... Nobody saves the time necessary to clear through a backlog.
Things we missed last week: Pac-Land (with some questionable replacement of a character for legal reasons) was in the Archives.
