Some long-awaited Amiibo will finally release this summer, with some variants as well.
The Smash Bros series Cloud, Corrin and Bayonetta will launch on July 21, and each character will have two forms including a female Corrin. Some of the alternate forms will be retail exclusives.
Three additional 30th anniversary Amiibo for the Legend of Zelda series will also release on June 23.

Kirby's going big for his 25th anniversary.
More Kirby games are set to arrive on the Nintendo 3DS console this year.
Today's Nintendo Direct revealed Team Kirby Crash Deluxe on the 3DS eShop, as well as Kirby Blowout Blast. Crash Deluxe is out now on the 3DS eShop. Blowout Blast, featuring over 25 stages, is due out this Summer.
It was also confirmed that a new multiplayer action game is also set for release this holiday season.

Along with a Pikmin Amiibo
The Pikmin platformer will be coming in July as Hey! Pikmin
Olimar's ship has crash-landed on a planet and he uses his Pikmin to recover the pieces of the ship in order to get off the planet. Hey! Pikmin will release in North America and Europe on July 28 along with a Pikmin Amiibo. Nintendo noted more information will be coming down the line to explain the Amiibo functionality.

Won't be long to try out this action RPG.
Today's Nintendo Direct gave us a release date for Ever Oasis in North America and Europe: June 23. The Japan release is set for July 13.
Announced at last year's E3, Ever Oasis is an action RPG developed by Grezzo for the Nintendo 3DS. Players are tasked with building an oasis by completing dungeons and other missions.

There's a lot of shooting in them thar eShops this week, mostly of the scrolling variety. Although North America and Europe get LEGO City Undercover, after that it's bullets everywhere. The big eShop release of the week, for instance, is Graceful Explosion Machine, one of the early entries from the late February indie showcase.

Arcade basketball will be hitting the Switch in the midst of the NBA playoffs.
Saber Interactive has picked up the NBA license for NBA Playgrounds, a 2-on-2 arcade hoops title which will launch on Switch next month for $20. The game will feature current stars and legendary former players such as Allen Iverson.

A follow-up game to a 2014 adventure hit originally planned for Wii U has moved to Switch.

The Switch picks up two major games this week on the North American bent, and we have three reviews for them. Longtime friend of the site Justin Nation and yours truly tackled GameStop-exclusive retail release Has-Been Heroes, while Casey slithered through Snake Pass at a rapid rate.
