HD Rumble is about to be put to its weirdest use yet as Senran Kagura is coming to the Switch.
Series produced Kenichiro Takaki showed an early concept for Senran Kagura Refure in the Japanese Nintendo Direct video, which will support HD Rumble to achieve the series's trademark aesthetic.
No release date was given for the game.

One part RPG, one part action
THQ Nordic will have two Switch titles hitting this summer.
Sine Mora EX is an expanded version of the horizontal shooter with time elements, with both arcade and story mode gameplay that can be played either in single player or co-op. It will release this summer for $19.99 US/€19.99.

XSEED's bringing you more Switch action.
Fate/Extella was announced for the Switch at today's Nintendo Direct.
Already out on PlayStation 4, the action title puts you in a role as a master who works with spirits that battle large amounts of enemies.
It will arrive in North America on July 25, Japan on July 20 and Europe 21 July, and will include 35 character outfits that were previously paid DLC.

Giving Switch owners options
Nintendo finally announced when Switch owners can get their hands on a standalone dock in today's Nintendo Direct. The dock will be available in limited quantities beginning on May 19 in North America. Dates for other regions were not specified.

Wakka wakka, baby.
The Namco Museum retro game collection will make its first appearance on the Switch this summer.
Among the 10 games announced for the collection are Pac-Man, The Tower of Druaga, Dig Dug, Galaga '88 and Rolling Thunder. Vertical / "tate" mode support will be supported for the collection, as well as online high score boards.

Worst case scenario it costs a Baltic Avenue
One of the biggest causes of family separation will be coming to the Switch this fall from Ubisoft.
Ubi and Engine Software have teamed up to create a Switch version of Monopoly that will release worldwide this fall. The new version will support up to 6 players for local play and support HD Rumble when throwing the dice.

More Rayman coming your way.
It was reiterated on today's Nintendo Direct that a new version of Rayman Legends is headed to the Switch.
Titled Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition, this version of the game will feature new skins, levels, items and a Kung Foot tournament mode.
It is currently scheduled for release later this year.

Four player multiplayer combat comes again to the Switch.
A new title was announced for all territories today, known tentatively as Project Mekuru.
The game is a four player combat game where the objective is to eliminate the other players by leaping into the air and flipping the tiles that make up the ground. Both local and online play will be supported.

Can you dig it?
It took the Wii U three years to get Minecraft, but the Switch will get it in under three months.
The multi-billion dollar construction sim will launch on the Switch eShop on May 11 in North America and 12 May for Europe and Japan with a retail release to follow. As with other versions, the Switch version will support four player local play including tabletop mode and eight-player online, plus contain the Super Mario Mash-Up pack.

Hopefully priced closer to Fates than Awakening's.
Like its 3DS predecessors, Fire Emblem Echoes will have DLC and a season pass.
A full breakdown of the costs for North America and Europe will come closer to the game's May 19 release, but the Japanese website has confirmed a mix of free and paid content will be available. On release day in Japan, experience, gold and item-granting maps will be made available.

The last in the BoxBoy trilogy is now out for the 3DS.
Bye Bye Boxboy, the last in a trilogy of BoxBoy games, is out now on the 3DS eShop in North America.
Originally released this past Febuary in Japan, BoxBoy features 180 puzzle-oriented levels on four different stages. It will be priced at $4.99.
A demo is out as well for those who want to try the game out.

SNK's giving the Switch all the goods.
It was announced during today's Nintendo Direct that even more Neo Geo games are coming to the Switch in the near future.
Fatal Fury, Over Top, Blazing Star, Garou: Mark of the Wolves, Galaxy Fighter, Shock Troopers: 2nd Squad, Last Resort, Sengoku and Samurai Shodown 4 are all set to arrive on the Nintendo Switch in the near future.

Now you can save the world with Einstein and Peter Griffin.
The most mysterious Japanese game of 2016 will be the West's most mysterious game of 2017.
Miitopia, the RPG where Miis are the stars, will be coming to the West before the end of the year. Both Miis in the 3DS's Mii Maker and specially created ones can take part in the adventure.

No word on any crystals being involved.
Yo-Kai Watch 2's third version will be coming to North America this fall.
Known as Shinuchi in Japan, this new version of the game will be localized as "Yo-Kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters", and contain a new storyline and enhancements to the Yo-Kai Watch Busters multiplayer mode.

Payday 2 was announced for the Nintendo Switch today during the Nintendo Direct livestream.
The game, which is all about setting up big heists, is set for a Fall release with four player co-op action.
It was originally released in 2013 on PC, with versions arriving on modern consoles two years later.

A very fishy mode is coming.
Splatoon 2 will be coming this summer with new modes and Amiibo.
Today's Nintendo Direct showed a new mode called Salmon Run, in which four players team up to hunt for eggs that can be cashed in for new gear by killing salmon. A lifesaver mode which serves as a respawn point was also shown.

Time to tame your Rathalos
Monster Hunter Stories will finally reach North America this fall.
The RPG spinoff of the multi-million selling franchise released in Japan in October 2016. No word was given on the status of the special Monster Hunter amiibo that released alongside the game.

The Sega puzzle game is out later this month, but try the demo today!
A demo for the upcoming Sega game Puyo Puyo Tetris is coming to Switch in North America and Europe today, according to the recent Nintendo Direct.
Puyo Puyo Tetris combines the two different puzzle game styles into one crazy package that will be out on April 25 in North America and April 28 in Europe. The game was a launch title for Switch in Japan.

One of the longest running gags in recent Nintendo history is being paid off in July.
Shown on Nintendo release lists for more than four years, Dr. Kawashima's Devilish Brain Training will finally release in Europe this July. The game originally released in North America in February of 2013.
