Redesigned Wii Bundle Could Sell for £79.99 Wii

For the holiday season, the retail price of the Wii bundle could be as low as £80.

The upcoming Europe-only bundle may be available for as low £79.99 ($130).

Pac-Man, Golf, and Catrap Coming to North American 3DS Virtual Console Soon 3DS

These titles are already out in Japan, but the eShop provides confirmation of their impending arrival in North America.

3DS Virtual Console in North America is going to get three games richer soon, as Pac-Man, Golf, and Catrap are all listed in the Coming Soon section of the eShop today.

All three Game Boy titles are already out in Japan, and Pac-Man came out in PAL regions on August 4.

When paired up with the North America delay to 2012, this is logical.

Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D is coming out in winter, according to a recent Konami presentation in Japan. Recently, word came out that the game was being delayed until 2012 in North America.

Natsume Delayed 3DS Games Due to Slow Sales 3DS

The rocky sales start of the 3DS is the reason why we're not ghostly grooving yet.

Two Natsume releases, Gabrielle's Ghostly Groove and Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns, were delayed due to the lackluster early sales of the 3DS, according to a Natsume representative.

Gabrielle's Ghostly Groove came out in Japan in July, and is ready to be released in North America. However, it was pushed back to an October release, primarily because of system sales, but also because of the game's Halloween-esque setting.

Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns 3DS Not Coming to Japan DS3DS

The 3DS port of the next portable Harvest Moon game is oddly a western exclusive.

The upcoming 3DS release of Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns is only coming to North America and Europe, a representative from Natsume told us.

The game, originally made for DS, came out in July 2010 in Japan. The DS version is coming over to North America on September 20, while the 3DS version, a 3D-enhanced port of the other version, is due out in October. The European release date for the game has not been announced.

Two Virtual Console games (one 3DS, one Wii), a calculator on DSiWare, and more hit Nintendo's download platforms this week.

Three DSiWare games, one 3DS Virtual Console title, a Wii Virtual Console game, and a WiiWare demo make up this week's downloads.

Gargoyle's Quest, developed by Capcom and originally released for Game Boy in 1990, is the headliner of the week. This adventure/RPG hybrid is vaguely similar to something such as Zelda II and it stars Firebrand, a villain from the Ghosts 'n Goblins series. You can pick it up for $3.99 on the eShop.

Australian Nintendogs + Cats Event Detailed 3DS

Take a photo of your dog, and you may win $5000.

Over the coming days Nintendo of Australia will be hosting a series of Nintendog + Cats events, where people will be able to take photos of and have photos taken with their real dogs. Visitors will be able to enter their best photos in a competition with a $5000 prize.

The event will have Australia's leading pet photographers, Tim and Grace Hobson, on hand to take photos and to help participants to take better images.

Love Plus' 3DS sequel will be sold with a limited edition console.

Upcoming sequel to the popular Japanese DS dating sim Love Plus is going to receive three limited edition hardware bundles for those who haven't yet picked up the handheld system. 

Much like the limited DSiLL bundles that came with the first game's update Love Plus + last year, the three limited sets will be named New Manaka Deluxe, New Rinko Deluxe, and New Nene Deluxe, after the three girlfriend choices in the game.

Telltale Signs Publishing Agreement with Nintendo Wii

Telltale Games will be self-publishing their Wii games on disc. The first is back in time!

Telltale Games signed an agreement with Nintendo of America, allowing them to publish games for Wii in disc-based retail form, as opposed to only making them available through the WiiWare download service. This overcomes file and download size limitations set in place for digital content.

From chip problems to issues with development teams, the Wii U may be creating a lot of headaches.

Nintendo is currently facing issues with the development of the Wii U and its several components, a report by 01net informs based on an anonymous developer report.

According to the report, the Wii U controller's architecture has been rushed, creating many unwanted consequences. With just ten months until its rumored June 2012 release, the report states that Nintendo's low development cost policy may finally start to take a toll on them.

Nintendo has confirmed that they will be holding a special Nintendo World trade show in September that will focus on the 3DS.

Kirby Returns to Dream Land on October 24 Wii

Kirby's Return to Dream Land will be released on October 24 in North America, Nintendo announced today.

Previously, the game had an unspecified fall release date. The new date and name were officially revealed through a press release in which Nintendo also advertises the game's presence at this year's Penny Arcade Expo.

Gamescom Saturday Sold Out, Closed to New Entrants for 30 Minutes

Even ticket holders were not allowed in through the barriers.

At around 2pm today, Gamescom was closed to public visitors - even those with paid tickets, for around 30 minutes due to the venue reaching capacity. This year's event is expected to be the biggest yet, and is set to beat last year's 250,000+ crowd. Exhibitors and floor space have both increased this year.

3DS Ambassador Confirmation Tool Available Now 3DS

Early adopters of the 3DS can now confirm their status.

The Ambassador confirmation page is available now for North America and Australia.

Players who already bought the 3DS prior to its price change can visit the page here and here for Australian players. Once they access the site, they must enter the serial number of the handheld (Tip: leave out the number in the square at the end if it doesn't work). The status will then be confirmed.
