Breath of the Wild needs more outfits for Link as much as a Xenoblade game needs more content.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and its newly announced Expansion Pass are available for pre-purchase on the eShop today, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild gets a new sidequest Thursday to unlock Rex's outfit.

Options are always nice.
Today's Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Direct revealed that a free launch day DLC pack will include the Japanese Voice track.
A new story trailer featured the Japanese cast with English subtitles.

The ability to record the players has been around since launch with the optional "GoPro" or "cell phone" accessories.
1-2-Switch is now at 1.1, with a surprising feature added.
The new software update for the Switch launch title adds the video recording function as seen in other Nintendo published titles. The same restrictions apply on recording, with clips of up to 30 seconds.

More Xenoblade Chronicles 2 info is about to be brought Directly to us.
A Xenoblade Chronicles Direct has been announced for Tuesday (November 7), starting at 6 a.m. Pacific time / 9 a.m. Eastern / 1500 Central European time. The length of the video has not been announced.

Looks like Team Rocket will waste our time once again in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
The latest bimonthly trailer for the game features the reveal of Team Rainbow Rocket, which contains every villain from prior Pokemon games. Led by former Viridian City gym leader Giovanni, the new evil is out to use Ultra Space to obtain all of the legendary Pokemon in existence.

Rhythm action and vehicular adventure. Yup, it's that kind of week.
The release schedule takes a week off before next week kicks it into Mach 14 for a couple of weeks. Although there are three more card-based games for Switch this week (protip: Monopoly requires a power cycle to not load forever), the more intriguing games on the download hopper are Super Beat Sports from Harmonix and the latest game from forma.8 stars MixedBag: Wheels of Aurelia.

The racing sim managed to put up a huge qualifying lap.
The Switch's first simulation racer made up major time on the back stretch and will now make it before the end of the Formula 1 season.
Originally slated to release on December 1, Gear.Club Unlimited is now going to release on November 21 both physically through GameStop as a timed exclusive and digitally. The European release will still be 1 December.

The fourth Style Savvy will be ready following the opening of presents on Christmas Day.
Style Savvy: Styling Star (aka Girls Mode 4 or New Style Boutique 3 in the rest of the world) has been announced for a December 25 eShop only release in North America. A demo is available for the game now.

The Breath of the Wild will have some extra goodies this holiday season.
Nintendo of America has announced a new version of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for this holiday. The "Explorer's Edition" will release at the same MSRP of $59.99, but will include a 100 page hint guide and a two-sided map. The DLC packs will not be included, and the new pack releases on November 24 ("Black Friday") for Switch only.

Developer Psyonix appeared on a new episode of Nintendo Minute today to announce that Rocket League will release on Switch on November 14 in both North America and Europe. The vehicular soccer hit will start out at $19.99 US or equivalent.

Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns has a few new options for love.
XSEED have confirmed the long-promised later DLC pack for their most recent farming simulator will release on November 9. The game will update at the same time, offering new outfits including a Rune Factory 4 crossover set, along other gameplay improvements.

And new icons, the stability of Switch software.
Following major feedback from players, Earth Atlantis will receive a big balance patch.
Intended to address key criticisms of the base game, the 1.0.1 patch will adjust drop rates for items, including leaving the equipped subweapon at the point of death and giving more item spawns closer to the restart point. A faster ship and toning down of boss difficutly with an emphasis on the game's Easy mode will also be included.
