Check out the newly confirmed dates for Luigi's Mansion, Fire Emblem, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon and Animal Crossing.
Nintendo Australia has announced release dates for several high-profile games for the Nintendo 3DS.
The games Nintendo has given dates to include Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, which is coming out on March 28, Fire Emblem Awakening will be coming on April 20, the new Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity is arriving on May 18, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf will be available on June 15.

The quirky action platformer series makes its way forward.
A sequel to 2011’s Mighty Switch
Force is in development for Nintendo 3DS.
Mighty Switch Force 2 will see the
return of protagonist Patricia Wagon and will again feature music composed by Jake Kaufman. The
development team is aiming for a release in either Q1 or Q2.
WayForward director Austin Ivansmith announced the game during a Destructoid podcast. The developer later
confirmed the reveal on their Twitter page.

The Wii may still have some life left in Europe.
The Wii Mini may be coming to Europe.
The Wii Mini has been discovered under the Wii tab on multiple European versions of Nintendo's official site. However, it could be a mistake; after clicking on the link, users are greeted by an error page.
So far, the Wii Mini has been exclusive to Canada.

Expect service interruptions on February 25 and 26.
Nintendo has stated on its Network Status page that "emergency maintenance" is scheduled Monday, February 25 and Tuesday, February 26 for the online portions of Pokémon Black and White (both the originals and sequels), Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, and Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper. Nintendo has not specifically discussed what needs fixing, but expect intermittent issues with playing any of these games online on February 25 and 26.

A demo and discount for the acclaimed Wii U eShop release is now available across the globe.
A demo for Trine 2: Directors Cut is now available on the Wii U eShop worldwide. The full game is also on sale for a 25% discount across all territories.
The singleplayer demo allows players access to the first level and half of the second, the demo will be available until February 28, although in Europe it will be up until March 7. The demo version also allows local co-op for up to three players.

WiiWare's swan song gets a release date.
Retro City Rampage will be released on WiiWare through the Wii Shop Channel on February 28.
Coming with it is ROM City Rampage, a prototype version of the game accurate to the hardware specifications of the NES. Grandtheftendo, the precursor to Retro City Rampage, was built to run on a real NES.

Nintendo starts to sell movies in the eShop.
Shaun the Sheep, an animation series which was broadcast in 3D via Nintendo Video on the Japanese 3DS, came to the Japanese eShop after today’s Nintendo Direct. As of today, Volume 1 to 3, each of which contains 3 stories, are available, and in total, 5 volumes are planned to be released. Volume 1 is priced at 100 yen; other volumes are 200 yen each.

Rising Star Games be keepen' it reel.
Super Black Bass 3D will be coming to North America courtesy of Rising Star Games. The 3DS game will be arriving on April 2, a little under a month after its European release.
Super Black Bass 3D provides 30 types of fish, and allows players to use the Real Rod System; a way to cast and reel in your catch through the 3DS's motion controls.

Bungie's newest game may be coming to the Wii U.
Destiny, the newest game by Bungie, may be coming to the Wii U.
When looking through the official pre-order page, Gamnesia found Wii U listed in the code for the page among other not yet announced platforms.
It is also possible that all platforms may have been listed by Activision by default, a publisher that supports major platforms. So far Destiny is only confirmed for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
