The atmospheric title has come a long way since then!
The Wii U eShop game Tengami is currently going through certification and will have a release date soon according a recent tweet from Nyamyam, the game's developer.
The game, featuring a colorful pop-up narrative, puts players in control of a samurai. Using the Wii U GamePad's touch screen, players will help guide the samurai as he navigates various puzzles and landscapes.

The reason for splitting Zelda/Sheik and Samus/Zero Suit Samus into separate character slots? 3DS wasn't up to it.

Best-selling indie platformer is coming to Nintendo's console.
Curve Digital announced today that indie platformer Thomas Was Alone will be coming to Wii U in November 2014. Although originally created and developed by Mike Bithell, Curve was responsible for developing PS3 and Vita versions of the game and will be reprising their roles as developers of the new versions for Wii U and other consoles.

The latest update to the Wii U brings the inclusion of folders, among other interface changes.
The design and layout of the HOME Menu has been updated. Folders can now be created in the Wii U Menu to hold and organize software icons. A Download Management icon has also been added to the Wii U Menu.

An image of a Super Smash Bros. for Wii U bundle appeared on Amazon last week.
The picture shows the previously announced package of the game, a GameCube controller and the special GameCube Controller Adapter. It also boasts a special Amiibo logo in the upper right corner, which might indicate how costumers will recognize figurine-supported games.

The Wii U version will now be released one week earlier.
Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric for Wii U has been slotted for November 11, as reported by the official Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter.
There was no reason given for the early launch, but speculation seems to be that the announcement of Grand Theft Auto V on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which was recently also given the 11/18 release date, might have spurred Sonic Boom's new date.
