The series' tradition of silly costumes continues with Dimensions.
Dead or Alive Dimensions will feature downloadable costumes using the 3DS's SpotPass feature.
According to a Famitsu news article, players will eventually be able to download 28 different costumes for the game's characters thanks to the 3DS's SpotPass. When players come in contact with a Wi-Fi signal, the game will automatically download new costumes.

The developer of Eternal Darkness and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes is set to open another studio in Ontario.
Silicon Knights has announced that they are planning to open a new development studio in Hamilton, Ontario. The studio plans to open in about six months. Although no word was given if any Nintendo products were planned for development there, the company has long said they would be open to developing a Wii game if the right idea came along.

The line-guiding rhythm game hasn't sold well on WiiWare or iOS.
Lilt Line sales have proved disappointing, according to sales figures released by the developer of the original iOS version, Different Cloth. The game was ported to WiiWare by Gaijin Games. Since its release on WiiWare in December 2010, the game has sold just over 3,700 copies on the service. Different Cloth noted that in order for Nintendo to pay anything back to the developer of the game, sales would need to be more than twice that figure.

The Nintendo 3DS outsold all of its competitors combined last week.
In its second week on the market, the Nintendo 3DS continued to push large numbers of hardware. The handheld, which sold 209,623 units in its first full week, outsold all other platforms combined. This number is down from its launch weekend sales of 374,764 units, but this can likely be blamed on supply issues.

Pilotwings will fly over Australia this April.
Nintendo of Australia announced today, that Pilotwings Resort will be launching on the Nintendo 3DS April 14, in both Australia and New Zealand.
The game will be priced at AU $69.95 and NZ $99.00 respectively.
The Nintendo 3DS Launches in Australia on March 31.

According to Japanese retailer Enterking, a system update could render your 3DS unusable if you've used a DS flash card.

The bee-branded business is officially bought out.
Deals between Konami and Hudson have been finalized, and as of April 1, the Tokyo-based developer of Bomberman and Adventure Island will officially be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Konami. Under Konami's supervision, Hudson will focus its attention towards SNS (Social Network Services). Konami became a major shareholder of Hudson in 2001 and majority stockholder in 2005, before announcing its plans in January to completely buy out the company.

The "Hero" moniker is not dead yet.
With the recent news that there are to be no new Guitar Hero or DJ Hero games. Activision seems to be gearing up for a brand new entry into the Hero series, called Dance Hero.
Some of the songs that are rumored to be coming to the game include, 2012 by Jay Sean (feat Nicki Minaj), Out of Space by The Prodigy, The Way I Are by Timbaland (feat Keri Hilson and D.O.E.) and Take Over Control by Afrojack (feat Evan Simon).

Lets just hope that there is depth in the gameplay.
AQ Interactive's Nintendo 3DS puzzle platformer, Cubic Ninja, has foregone the use of the 3DS's stereoscopic 3D effect.
The stated reason being
that the developer wanted to instead take advantage of the systems
gyroscopes. It would not be possible to keep the system in the so-called
"sweet spot" where you will be able to see the 3D effect while using
the gyroscopes.

Nintendo talks about '3DSWare', 3D Classics, transferring DSiWare games onto the 3DS.
Charlie Scibetta, Nintendo's senior director of corporate communications talked to Joystiq about the new 3DS eShop. The 3DS eShop is an online marketplace where 3DS owners can purchase and download games. Scibetta revealed to Joystiq that most of the DSiWare library will be available from the launch of the new eShop.

In the latest entry of Nintendo's Iwata Asks column, the Nintendo President sat down with lead designer and producer Shigeru Miyamoto regarding his games and the recently released in Japan 3DS.
When Iwata asks how he makes it so that his games are the opposite of bland, Miyamoto explains that it is a misconception as he thought the original Legend of Zelda game for the NES was bland.
