Nintendo of America started a new Twitter account for Animal Crossing: New Leaf today. Isabella, who will assist new players in the game, will be tweeting from @AnimalCrossing.
The announcement appeared on both the new Animal Crossing and Nintendo of America’s Twitter feed in the form of a digital letter. In it, Isabelle introduces herself and the new account which will be used to tell viewers about life in an Animal Crossing town.

Could another collection of 3DS games from Level-5 be on the cards?
Guild03, the third in a series of game compilations produced by Level-5, may be on its way to Nintendo 3DS in the near future.

Shadow of the Eternals, a proposed 12-episode game, will use CryENGINE 3 and is slated for a 2014 release.
Shadow of the Eternals, the spiritual successor to Eternal Darkness, has now been officially revealed. From Precursor Games, it is an episodic Wii U/PC title, using CryENGINE 3, seeking $1.5 million for its first episode, due out in Q3 2014. Through other sources, we can confirm that this project originally started as the Eternal Darkness 2 demo that Silicon Knights was rumored to have been showing to publishers.

Nintendo is supposedly offering smartphone to Wii U software to help expedite the process.
Nintendo may be offering up smartphone-to-Wii U conversion software to application developers in an effort to bring apps to Wii U, according to The Japan Times.
The goal would be to increase sales of the system by having more popular titles available for download. The story also states that Nintendo is developing new games/software for the Wii U and making that a focus.

WayForward's cult classic is finally arriving on Virtual Console this June!
Shantae, the Game Boy Color game featuring a spunky young half-genie on a quest to retrieve a stolen steam engine from the notorious pirate Risky Boots, is heading to the Nintendo 3DS eShop towards the end of June this year.
The news was posted on WayForward's official blog, stating that the release is confirmed not only for North America, but for the first time the game has been seen in Australia, New Zealand and Europe.

Plus, the game makes its way to Australia and New Zealand!
WayForward Technologies has finished an update for Mighty Switch Force! Hyper Drive Edition and will be expanding the game's distribution to Australia and New Zealand as well.
According to WayForward's official blog, the free update will include mainly game performance improvements. Audio levels will be rebalanced, improved headphone support, and a new file compression that will reduce the game’s size by 40 percent.

Patty's next adventure has begun its testing process.
Mighty Switch Force 2 is complete, according to a brief but noteworthy post on WayForward's official blog.
The developer team has finished the game, and the title is now in product testing.
The game takes the puzzle platforming aspects from the first and tweaks them with a new story involving Patricia Wagon becoming a firefighter to stop a massive city-wide blaze.
