Development has begun on a WiFi-enabled sequel to the DSiWare title AiRace.
A
3DS eShop sequel to DSiWare's AiRace is in development at QubicGames, NWR was
told in a recent interview. The developer recently started working on
the game, which will be called AiRace: SPE3D and feature online multiplayer, and plans to release it in
late 2012.
The original AirRace was released on DSiWare in early
2010 and features gameplay where you must carefully pilot planes
through tunnels filled with obstacles.

The second best thing we have ever had for a reward.
Nintendo Australia has updated the Club Nintendo Stars Catalogue with a new item. The new reward is a small Kirby's Epic Yarn pouch, which is sized at 13x9cm and can fit items up to 11.5x8cm. It also features a zip pocket on the back.
The Kirby pouch is priced at 1000 Stars. It is unknown if the item is a limited-run reward, such as the Super Nintendo Controller for Wii, or if it will remain in the catalogue for some time.

Nintendo Power has revealed the latest set of characters that will appear in the upcoming Mario Kart 7 for the 3DS.
The article reconfirms the appearance of Metal Mario, Shy Guy, Lakitu, and Miis, but also details two new racers. The first is Wiggler, the caterpillar enemy that first appeared in Super Mario World. The character has made playable appearances before, but this is the first time he appears in the Mario Kart series.

The rumor mill predicts a loss of over a billion dollars over the second half of 2011.
Nintendo will post a loss of ¥100 billion tomorrow (approximately $1.31 billion), according to Japanese newspaper Nikkei. The loss is for the period of April 2011 through September 2011. According to the report, the loss is mostly attributed to the value of the yen against the Euro, and amounts for ¥40 billion of the rumored loss. In comparison, for the same period in 2010, Nintendo posted a loss of just over ¥4 billion.

EB Games Australia has announced pre-order bonuses for both Super Mario 3D Land, and Mario Kart 7.
Super Mario 3D Land will be offered with a plush Tanooki hat, while Mario Kart 7 will offer pre-orderers a plush Mario hat. These products, however, are not officially licenced by Nintendo.
Super Mario 3D Land will be available on November 24, with Mario Kart 7 launching sometime in December.

Japan's latest Nintendo 3DS colour, "Misty Pink", has been announced for an upcoming launch in Australia, to be released as "Lavender Pink".
The console colour will be available in stores starting from the 17th of November, giving just enough time to save up after buying one of these blushing babies to pick up Super Mario 3D Land on the 24th.
