More people will soon be able to color in 3D.
Colors! 3D is heading to both Europe and Australia on April 19 for €6, according to Collecting Smiles, the game's developer.
Colors! 3D released in North America on April 5, and according to Collecting Smiles, the online picture gallery has over 10,000 paintings. Soon two additional regions will be able to add to the growing collection.

Characters from the three companies will collide in a strategy RPG.
First details about Capcom, Sega and Namco Bandai's 3DS game, Project X Zone (pronounced Project Cross Zone), have appeared on the latest issue of Famitsu. The game will be a strategy RPG in which characters will be in pairs for various battles. This is reminiscent of Namco X Capcom, a strategy RPG developed by Monolith Software that also featured crossovers from the two companies, though gameplay footage has yet to be released.

After rocking the Wii, the beating drum game makes its 3DS debut this summer.
Taiko no Tatsujin: Chibi Dragon to Fushigi na Orb ("Taiko Drum Master: Little Dragon and the Mysterious Orb.") has been announced for the Nintendo 3DS and will be coming this summer, the latest issue of Famitsu revealed.

You can now wander around the Louvre with a 3DS.
Louvre museum visitors can take advantage of Nintendo 3DS audio guides beginning today, according to a Nintendo of Europe press release.
Last year we reported that Nintendo would be supplying the Louvre with 3DS units to be used as audio guides. Starting today these 3DS systems are now the exclusive audio guide for the museum.

The son of Donkey Kong invades the 3DS, while Sonic the Hedgehog's fifth Game Gear apperance makes an encore.
Sega's Sonic Blast for the Game Gear and Nintendo's Donkey Kong Jr. for the Famicom will be making their 3DS Virtual Console debuts in Japan next week.
Sonic Blast was originally the fifth Sonic game released for the Game Gear. The game will be released on April 18 for 300 yen.

The last of the Skylanders are finally making their debut.
The last three Skylander characters have finally made their way to store shelves.
Warnado is a turtle-like air element character and can summon tornadoes and execute spin attacks to keep away his foes. Camo is a life element Skylander that uses firecracker vines and sun burst attacks.... Read more...

A Wii U version is not currently in the works for Nintendo's next generation console.
Resident Evil 6 will not be released on the Wii U this year, producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi told IGN in a recent interview. “Unfortunately, RE6 will not be available at this time on the Wii U. Right now we’re concentrating on the PlayStation 3 version, 360 version and the PC version of the game.”

A new trademark seems to indicate it!
Namco Bandai has filed a trademark in Europe for a game called Pac-Man Smash, starring the company's own mascot Pac-Man. The trademark was filed on April 4, 2012.
The details regarding what the game is going to be and on what system it will appear on are very scarce at the moment. The name "Smash" seems to indicate that it might be a party game in the same manner as Pac-Man Party for the Wii and 3DS.

Amazon's French site may have leaked the news on the latest entry of Ubisoft's smash dance series.
Amazon France has accepted pre-orders for what seems to be the fourth game in Ubisoft's Just Dance series. Ubisoft has yet to confirm the existence of a fourth game, but due to the series' yearly game releases, all signs seems to indicate that this will be a reality.

Marth may not always fight for his friends, but he does headline the first set of DLC.
Nintendo has shed details on the first set of DLC for the 3DS's Fire Emblem: Awakening. The first round of DLC will feature classic Fire Emblem character Marth.
Once players download him, they must clear a map. When they do, Marth will join them as a playable party member.

The original 3DS RPG from Square Enix will have many resolutions to its story.
Square Enix's Bravely Default: Flying Fairy will have multiple endings, producer Tomoya Asano told in an interview with Famitsu.
While the game will have one set storyline, it will follow multiple characters across their journey and gain new jobs. Of the four main characters, two have already been revealed.

The Community star advertises the 3DS with the help of Mario and Luigi.
Community star, Joel McHale, teamed up with Nintendo to promote the Nintendo 3DS in this new comedic sketch.
The video, which can be watched below, references several ways to create a successful viral video while promoting Nintendo's handheld. Joel McHale provides plenty of laughs through the use of a kick to someones groin and the discussion of a baby panda. The video was directed by Jesse Selwyn and produced by John Koch.

Rakuten, a popular online retailer in Japan, has listed June 23 as the release date for Pokémon Black and White Version 2 on the Nintendo DS. The Pokémon Company previously revealed that the upcoming sequel would indeed be hitting store shelves in Japan this June but did not specify the exact date.

Hirokazu Yasuhara has assumed a new role at Nintendo Software Technology (NST) after leaving Namco Bandai one month ago, as reported by Yasuhara's LinkedIn profile.
As Yasuhara has begun working for NST recently, no word currently exists on what exactly he is working on. NST is known for games like Wave Race: Blue Storm, Metroid Prime Hunters, the Mario vs. Donkey Kong franchise, as well as several DSiware titles (like Aura-Aura Climber).

Couldn't be a beta tester? Square Enix's events have you covered.
Square Enix is hosting demo events for the Wii version of Dragon Quest X: Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku at different locations throughout Japan.
The demo events will be held in Tokyo (April 28-29), Fukuoka (May 26-27) and Aichi (June 16-17). Patrons of the event will be able to test out the latest build of the game as well as view stage shows. Guests will also receive a special Slime cleaning strap.

Every Nintendo system is a winner this week, as one downloadable title heads to each of Nintendo's download services.
First is the new eShop painting application, Colors! 3D. Colors! 3D allows you to draw, sketch, and paint 3D pictures, which you can then share with friends. You can also access an online gallery to view others' creations. You can read impressions on Colors! 3D here. You can download it now for $6.99.
