Retail releases are bountiful this week as both the 3DS eShop and Wii U eShop see the release of four new retail titles onto their digital shelves. A few demos, DSiWare games, VC releases and an eShop title round out this weeks Nintendo Downloads.

A Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed demo is up, too.

The promised Rayman Legends demo is now available on the Wii U eShop in North America. It contains three levels: Teensies in Trouble, Toad Story, and Castle Rock. Additionally, a demo for Sega's Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is up on the eShop as well at a size of 1172 MB with 15 allowed plays.

The complete version of escapeVektor has almost escaped onto the eShop.

Nintendo and The Pokemon Company released an official app on the iOS App Store.

The Pokedex for iOS app is now available on the official App Store on iOS platforms. The reference app bears a striking resemblance to the previously released Pokedex 3D Pro for the 3DS, though each has unique features. All 647 Pokemon (and their alternate forms) are available in the application via in-app purchases. It is a universal app so a single purchase works on iPhones, iPod Touches, and iPads. It requires iOS 6.0.

Rayman Legends will release in the launch window, and a demo is also coming this week!

Ubisoft has confirmed that Rayman Legends for the Wii U will release February 26 in North America, February 28 in Australia and New Zealand, and March 1 in Europe and the UK.

The game was originally scheduled to release alongside the Wii U, but was delayed into 2013. These revised dates still place the game's release inside the launch window for Wii U.

Company tries to give hope to Nintendo players.

Bioware, the company behind the Mass Effect and Dragon Age franchises, says to not count the possibilities of both the missing Mass Effect 3 DLC and the Mass Effect Trilogy coming to the Wii U. This is what they mentioned in an interview with gaming website GamerSyndrome.

The Hackmii Installer has been updated for use on Nintendo's newest console. 

It has been mere weeks since the Wii U launched in United States, and the fellows at Wiibrew have already developed a new version of their Hackmii Installer that allows players to install Homebrew Channel, or HBC for short, onto the new home console.

Currently, the channel will only work in the Wii U's emulated Wii Menu mode, and does not work in Wii U mode.

Commander Video invades the eShop at a great price.

Bit.Trip Saga will be available on the 3DS eShop come December 20, with an asking price of $14.99.

Bit.Trip Saga is a collection of all six rhythmic retro Bit.Trip titles - Beat, Core, Void, Runner, Fate, and Flux. The collection reworks the controls and visuals to best fit the 3DS, adding touch and stereoscopic 3D.

A welcome addition to iOS Mudds makes its way to Wii U.

Mutant Mudds Deluxe, an upcoming eShop release for the Wii U, will contain the checkpoint system introduced in the recently released iOS version of the game.

The checkpoints appear as large signs that mark the players progress. Crossing one will allow the player to continue from that point should they die later in the level. The lack of such a feature in the original 3DS version of Mutant Mudds was lamented in some reviews.

Phase shift a bit for free. 

Fractured Soul will be releasing their free demo on North America's eShop on December 6, so it should be available for download later today. This was announced through the developer's official Facebook group earlier today.

The same demo will be available in Australia and Europe in January.

Fractured Soul was released earlier this year and is currently available on the Nintendo 3DS eShop for $11.99.
