The 3DS puzzle/adventure game is scheduled for a summer release.
Konami officially confirmed their plans to localize their upcoming Nintendo 3DS title, Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights for North America. Scheduled for a summer 2011 release, Doctor Lautrec gives players control of the titular doctor as he moves around Paris of the late 1800s, solving both puzzles and mysteries via the application of logic.

The first 3DS title from Natsume is a little fishy.
Natsume is bringing Reel Fishing Paradise 3D to 3DS this spring. It will be the first 3DS title from the Harvest Moon publishers.
The game will feature more than a dozen fishing locations, all with 3D effects such as fish popping out of the water.

A thinner, lighter case will house the new 3DS game cartridges. How do they decrease the weight?
A few days ago some images of the new Nintendo 3DS game cases surfaced on a Japanese retailer blog. These cases are more eco-friendly than previous game cases, as they use less plastic. The packaging seems to be reminiscent of Nintendo DS game cases, but with the 3DS logo on the opposite side of the box. They also appear to be thinner than previous game cases.

EA will be represented by two games when the 3DS launches on March 27.
Madden NFL Football and The Sims 3 will both be available at the launch of the 3DS in North America on March 27, EA confirmed to us at an event in New York City.
This comes as no surprise, as Madden was announced as a launch title back in November, and The Sims 3 is a launch title in Europe.

One of the first-announced 3DS launch titles is no more, thanks to a small target demographic.
My Garden, EA's 3DS garden simulator, is canceled, as revealed at an EA event in New York City today.
EA is sending out an official statement soon, but the only official reason they gave was that the "target demographic was too small."

Downloadable games can be rated in the Nintendo 3DS eShop, according to
a video on Nintendo's Minna no Nintendo channel on Japanese Wiis. The
video shows Super Mario Land with a rating of 4 out of 5 stars.
Unfortunately, the price for Super Mario Land and other Virtual Console
games were not shown.

Director Junichi Masuda ended any rumors that the new handheld would do more than simply play the game like a DS.
Junichi Masuda, director of the upcoming Pokémon Black and White, has confirmed that those titles will not feature special content when played on a 3DS. "Other than just being able to play the game normally, there's nothing special if you use a 3DS," he stated.

Next year's NFL game will cost EA less to make, and the exclusivity is extended through 2013.
The National Football League and EA Sports have restructured their exclusivity deal for the Madden NFL series, according to Sports Business Daily. The new contract lowers the licensing fee significantly for this year's upcoming Madden NFL game. In addition, the exclusive contract has been extended one year, to 2013.

An unnamed man in Malaga, Spain was arrested for leaking stolen user data from Nintendo owners. It is unknown whether the data came from Nintendo's systems or a third party.

During Nintendo’s Q3 Financial Results Briefing last June it was made public that there are several new Pokémon games in the works for both the Wii and Nintendo 3DS. Latest game based on the upcoming movie will have a brand new development.
Activision has announced their latest Transformers titles based on the upcoming film, "Transformers: Dark of the Moon". One notable fact is that the Wii, DS and 3DS game will be developed by Behaviour Interactive, formerly Artificial Mind and Movement. For years, the development team responsible for the Transformers games on the Nintendo systems has been Vicarious Visions.

The company's Facebook page reveals several titles in the work.
n-Space, the development company behind GameCube cult title Geist and the handheld Call of Duty games, have revealed through their Facebook page that they are working on three Nintendo 3DS titles.
The names of these games are yet to be confirmed, however their expected release date was given. The first 3DS title has a fall 2011 release date, while the other two titles are aimed for the first quarter of 2012.
