Mighty Milky Way Launching on DSiWare This Monday DS

WayForward's latest is coming out on May 9.

Mighty Milky Way, WayForward's third DSiWare game, is hitting the service on Monday for 800 DSi Points ($8).

A spiritual successor to Mighty Flip Champs, the game puts you in the shoes of Luna as you create and destroy planets to solve 40 different puzzles. You also have to watch out for electric barriers and space creatures, including Milky Way, a laser-shooting T-Rex.

Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion Delayed to June 3DS

The Cartoon Network brawler will miss its May target.  

Crave Entertainment announced today that the upcoming 3DS brawler, Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion, is being delayed to a June 21 release and will retail for $39.99. The title, which is very similar to Nintendo's own Super Smash Bros., was originally scheduled for a May North American release.

Nintendo Greece Announces Ocarina of Time Pre-Order Bonuses 3DS

Greek Nintendo fans get their own ocarina when they reserve the 3DS title.

Greek players who pre-order The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D will receive several special items.

The biggest perk of pre-ordering is an actual ocarina shaped to resemble the titular Ocarina of Time. If that weren't enough, players will also get a green cap with the Zelda logo on it, a Zelda logo keychain, a 3DS cover featuring an image of Link riding Epona, and a can of "Deku seeds."

3DS Super Mario Game Will Not Feature StreetPass 3DS

Mario's upcoming 3DS title will feature motion controls, but no StreetPass goodies.

Ocarina of Time 3D to Receive Small Initial Shipment 3DS

Gamers in Japan are warned to pre-order their copy before shipments run out.

Nintendo will be shipping less than 150,000 copies of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D for the Japanese launch, according to Sinobi.

The initial reports of Nintendo shipping the game in small numbers have greatly spurred pre-orders. Due to this, it is expected that Nintendo will ship more units of the game in order to meet the demand.

Nintendo Hopes to Create Stronger Ties with Overseas Developers

According to Nintendo, a relationship with these developers will be crucial on the next generation of gaming.

Capcom Comments on Mega Man's Popularity in Japan and North America

Capcom USA reveals some insight into why developers in Japan think Mega Man doesn't appeal to North America.

Short new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time features Epona, Ganondorf, the Master Sword, Zelda, and more.

A new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D was recently released by Nintendo.

Link is seen slashing his way to victory as both a child and an adult in the new video. The Triforce symbol also makes a lovely guest appearance.

The official North American website also opened today. The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D hits store shelves on June 19. Watch the trailer below.

The latest word is that Café will not have a hard drive.

The Wii follow-up is set to contain eight gigabytes of on-board flash memory and will not use a hard drive, sources have allegedly told gaming blog Kotaku. The new system, which is scheduled to be revealed at E3, may also use a disc format that can hold 25GB of data.

Box art for the budget-priced software line dubbed "Nintendo Selects" has appeared, confirming earlier retailer reports.

Xenoblade Chronicles Rated by Australian Classification Board Wii

Nintendo apparently plans to release Monolith Soft's RPG outside of Europe.

The Australian Classification Board has issued a rating for Xenoblade Chronicles, indicating that Nintendo may be planning to release the Wii RPG in the region. The listing states that the board gave the game an M (12+) rating and has Nintendo Australia as the applicant.

The first update for May features everything from runners to hairdressers.

This week sees six new games throughout all of Nintendo's downloadable game services.

The WiiWare game for this week is Bingo Party Deluxe from Ateam Inc. Up to four players can participate in various game modes based around Bingo, such as 75-Ball Bingo and 90-Ball Bingo. The title can be downloaded for 500 Wii Points ($5).

Xenoblade Chronicles may see a release in North America this fall.

Xenoblade Chronicles is coming to America, according to a blurb on English voice actor Peter Dickson’s website.

The upcoming action RPG, which has been officially confirmed for a European release, will include the original Japanese voiceovers along with a newly recorded English audio track.  Peter Dickson will have a role in the new recording, which is being headed by Nintendo of Europe.

A new Need for Speed game is coming this November for Wii and 3DS. Developed by Firebrand Games, who worked on TrackMania Wii and the DS version of Need for Speed: Nitro, Need for Speed The Run features a cross-country race from San Francisco to New York, through a variety of environments.

Cave Story 3D Hitting Stores in August 3DS

The game will come with a new stage and a $40 price tag. 

Cave Story 3D is coming out in North America on August 9 and in Europe in September, publisher NIS America revealed today.

The game was originally set for a June 28 release, according to Nintendo's Q2 2011 release schedule. There is no officially known reason for the delay.

The 3DS title, Tales of the Abyss, will be released in North America.

In the latest issue of Nintendo Power, a page spread featuring artwork from the game confirms that the game will be released in North America. It states the following:

"The modern RPG classic Tales of the Abyss is about to be retold on the 3DS. Yes, even in America!"
