The Caped Crusader is returning to the Wii U!
Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - Deluxe Edition has been announced for the Wii U.
Originally released for the Nintendo 3DS in October 2013, the game will now see an HD, digital-only release for the Wii U and other systems in North America on April 1 for $19.99, and in Europe on April 2 for £15.99.

He's back again, and about time too!
Diddy Kong, one of the stars of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, will be a playable character in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS.
In the pictures shown on the official Super Smash Bros. site, it can be seen that Diddy is equipped with his barrel jetpack, peanut pistols, and banana peels. The screens showcased Diddy Kong in both the Wii U and 3DS versions.

A patent infringement case at the International Trade Commission has been won by Nintendo. The case was brought by three patent-licensing companies, Technology Properties Limited, LLC, Phoenix Digital Solutions LLC, and Patriot Scientific Corporation, that originally filed the complaint in July, 2012.

Index Corporation, parent company of developer Atlus, will be split into two groups following restructuring after being purchased by Sega Sammy Holdings. The first company will be known as Atlus, which will have 121 employees who will focus entirely on game development. What came first, the party or the fish?
Evofish, a new party game from developer Moving Player, has been approved for release on the Wii U eShop. It will be available “shortly” in Europe, with no announcement so far for other regions.
Evofish includes a solo mode, as well as three multiplayer party modes supporting up to five players using the Wii U GamePad and four Wii remotes. Multiplayer will include the option to play competitively or cooperatively.

Colorful before, but prettier now.
A new HD remake of Flowerworks: Follie's Adventure is being released this quarter, developer Nocturnal Entertainment has announced.
Originally released for WiiWare in 2010, Flowerworks HD is revamped to make use of the Wii U's HD capabilities. Nocturnal attributes the project to Nintendo's kindness; the company lent Nocturnal Wii U devkits in order to complete the port.

Those Red Falcon guys really had it coming anyway.
The trend continues! This Siberian winter on the eShop will come to an end one day. With naught but a single game or two each week to slake our digital hunger we Nintendo gamers may be unable to go on.
But seriously, where are the games? My theory is that Nintendo has them locked in a vault, guarded by Nunchuck Reggie. This week the VC gets the minimal amount of love, a promising RPG hits the eShop, and a Spin the Bottle game gets an update.

We can finally see what this thing looks like.
The Limited Edition Yoshi's New Island 3DS XL hardware has been revealed and has a European release date of March 14.
Earlier this week we reported that a Yoshi themed 3DS XL is also in the works for the North America. At this time we can't confirm if the North American piece of hardware will look the same.
