Matsushita announced today that their DVD Player / GameCube hybrid will be released in Japan in time for the holidays.
Matsushita has just announced the release date and pricing information for its Nintendo GameCube / DVD player Combo, named “Q.” The hybrid system will be hitting Japan on December 14th.

From Software has posted movies from its GameCube projects Rune and Gold Star Mountain on its website.
From Software has emerged as a prime supplier of RPGs for the GameCube with the recent announcement of Rune and Gold Star Mountain, which were both shown at the Fall TGS. Nintendo Representatives are reporting that within six months of its debut, the Game Boy Advance has sold just under 12 million (!) units worldwide.
This just in! The Game Boy Advance is unstoppable. It’s been a smash hit in every part of the world it’s been released in and has developers lining up to make games for it. Good news! Advance Wars plot for World Domination is still on track. PGC confirms Nintendo’s latest, greatest GBA game is not cancelled in Europe, nor discontinued in the USA.
Although reports in the UK Nintendo Official Magazine would have you believe that Advance Wars has been cancelled for Europe, it has actually been postponed until 2002. No further information has been released about the game or the reasons surrounding the delay.
The only first party GBA game for release in Europe this year is Wario Land 4, due for mid-November.

Cloudchaser Nintendo says it all:
The british Nintendo Official Magazine has announced that Advance Wars "indefinitely cancelled" due to the events in New York.
Although it might still come out some time next year it seems unlikely.

Nastume announced the other day that Lufia Gaiden was announced and is scheduled for release for Februrary 2002.
