Europe gets their multiplayer Mario only a few days after North America.

Capcom releases two new trailers for Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Ultimate All Stars showcasing two new characters.
During TGS Capcom has officially revealed two characters for the upcoming fighting game, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All Stars. The two new characters are Frank West, from Capcom's Dead Rising series, and Tekkaman Blade, from the Tatsunoko series that bares its name.

If you like ass-kicking Samurai warriors, look no further.
Koei used Tokyo Game Show 2009 as an opportunity to unveil a pair of trailers for its upcoming Wii title Samurai Warriors 3. The first trailer shows several of the game's 35 characters in action, and features plenty of the game's stunning cinema scenes.
The second trailer of B-Roll footage shows off the game's large numbers of enemies, as well as some spectacular special attacks.

Nintendo announces the price drop, along with a new promotional tour and a release date for the next Mario game. UPDATED with Japanese price drop details.
Nintendo has officially announced that the price of their Wii console will drop to $199.99 USD effective Sunday, September 27. The hardware will still come packaged with a copy of Wii Sports, a Wii Remote, and a Nunchuk.
Nintendo has also announced that the price of the console will drop from ¥25,000 ($273) to ¥20,000 ($217) in Japan on October 1.

Sega has released a new gameplay trailer for Super Monkey Ball Step & Roll for the Wii. This new installment of the Super Monkey Ball series features Balance Board support. The new trailer shows off Balance Board gameplay as well as some new mini-games.

Capcom announces one DS game and one Wii title at their TGS press conference.
Capcom Entertainment has announced two new titles for Nintendo systems at their Tokyo Game Show conference. The first game is a DS title called Ghost Trick, a supernatural adventure title featuring puzzle-solving as well as characters designed by those behind the Ace Attorney series. Players take on the role of a ghost named Sissel who suffers from amnesia, with the goal being to protect Sissel's loved ones from danger.

PopCap Games brings their popular franchises to Nintendo's handhelds.
PopCap Games has announced that they will be releasing two of their most popular franchises, Bookworm and Bejeweled, on the DS platform.. The downloadable DSiWare version of Bookworm will be released later this month, with the retail version being released on December 1. Bejeweled Twist for the Nintendo DS is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2010. It will also receive a DSiWare version.

Instead of a price drop, the UK might be getting a new Wii SKU.
Recently, early listings of American retailer circulars have revealed that the Wii will receive a $50 price drop, lowering its price from $249.99 to $199.99.
According to MCV UK, retailers have revealed to the website that there will not be a price drop in the country. Instead, there will be a new Wii SKU that will replace the current one.

A recent patent reveals Namco Bandai's new Wii peripheral.
A patent that was filed earlier this year by Namco Bandai reveals that the company is developing an inflatable drum controller for the Wii. While the patent doesn't state what game it is for, it will presumably be for their Taiko no Tatsujin series (known as Taiko Drum Master in North America).

Today Capcom announced that they have shipped their Wii-exclusive brawler Spyborgs. The game was the subject of some controversy early in its development cycle, undergoing an overhaul that saw two of five playable characters dropped and a move away from its originally cartoony aesthetic.
A recent trailer showcases the game's emphasis on co-operative beatdowns, with two players able to play simultaneously.

The first trailer of the upcoming WiiWare title features 8-player games and a wealth of options.
Medaverse Studios has released the first gameplay footage of their first WiiWare title, Gravitronix. The trailer mentions that the game uses the Wii Remote or Nunchuk to control the characters on screen, and allows up to eight players to battle each other on one Wii console. Other modes mentioned in the trailer include a 21-level campaign mode and 6 special modes.

The DSiWare application allows you to animate photos with MySims characters.
Today Electronic Arts released MySims Camera, a Nintendo DSi application that allows users to manipulate photos taken with the DSi camera using MySims characters. Players will ultimately have 12 characters to choose from, with the ability to add these characters into photos as they see fit. They can move, crop, rotate, and scale photo elements as well.

Big John Games shows off their impressive-looking DSiWare shooter.
Thorium Wars is an upcoming vehicle shooter being released for DSiWare. This trailer features plenty of footage of the game's impressive 3D engine, showing lots of large mechanized enemies and battles on land, in the sea, and in space.
Thorium Wars is scheduled to release this month.

Some new DS and Wii gameplay footage features sledding plumbers and hedgehogs.
Sega of America has released new gameplay trailers for the DS and Wii versions of Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games. Both trailers show off several of the games in the title, such as Ice Hockey, Bobsledding, and Figure Skating. The Wii trailer also shows how the game supports the Wii Balance Board in the Sled Racing and Bobsledding games.
