Ten new titles are here to kick start the holiday season.

This week, we have ten new available titles: four on WiiWare, four on DSiWare, and two on Virtual Console.

The first WiiWare title for download is the fourth chapter of the Tales of Monkey Island saga. In this chapter, titled The Trial and Execution of Guybrush Threepwood, the player must keep cool in the face of an angry mob and a slick prosecutor. Tales of Monkey Island: Chapter Four is available on the Wii Shop Channel for 1,000 Wii Points ($10).

MyZoo is the second WiiWare title available this week. The game is an animal simulator, meant to show you the ropes of raising and breeding zoo animals. There are 12 animal types included in the game, with four more available for purchase as downloadable content. MyZoo is available on the Wii Shop Channel for 500 Wii Points ($5).

The third WiiWare title for download this week is Copter Crisis. This game puts you in the cockpit of a helicopter in an elite rescue squad. The player will complete various tasks and missions using the Wii Remote as a control stick. 10 additional helicopters are available for purchase as downloadable content for 100 Wii Points each. Copter Crisis is available on the Wii Shop Channel for 500 Wii Points ($5).

The last WiiWare title this week is Christmas Clix, a simple puzzle game where you organizepresents and ornaments that Santa stacks up. Christmas Clix is available from the Wii Shop Channel for 1,000 Wii Points ($10).

The first DSiWare title for download this week is Foto Face: The Face Stealer Strikes. This unique game, published by EA, uses the DSi camera and microphone to put you into the game to fight against the Face Stealer. Foto Face: The Face Stealer Strikes is available on the DSi Shop for 800 Nintendo DSi Points ($8).

Next up for DSiWare is Bookworm, a popular PopCap game now available on DSiWare. The game has you creating words from an on-screen grid of tiles, using up the burning letters as fast as possible before they end your game. Bookworm is available on the DSi Shop for 500 Nintendo DSi Points ($5).

Master of Illusion Express: Mind Probe is a magic trick you can perform for your friends and family. Mind Probe attempts to detect information from your friends, such as a favorite person, food, or color. Master of Illusion Express: Mind Probe is available on the DSi Shop for 200 Nintendo DSi Points ($2).

Lastly, Sudoku Challenge! is another variation of the popular puzzle game, which gives you a 9-by-9 grid and asks you to fill in the missing numbers. With over 100,000 unique puzzles, the game promises you'll never need to play the same puzzle twice. Sudoku Challenge! is available on the DSi Shop for 500 Nintendo DSi Points ($5).

For Virtual Console, The Combatribes is a brawler taking place on the streets of New York City. An evil gang known as "Guilty Zero" has taken over, and it's up to you to clean up the streets. Originally released for Super Nintendo in 1992, the game is inspired by the arcade classic Double Dragon. The Combatribes is available on the Wii Shop Channel for 800 Wii Points ($8).

Lastly, the arcade release of Solomon's Key has been released on Virtual Console. The title features a top-down view of a grid-based puzzle and is known for its difficulty. The NES version of the game has been available on the Virtual Console since 2006. Solomon's Key is available on the Wii Shop Channel for 600 Wii Points ($6).

Some animals will even have a baby on occasion, and once it's born, you've got another mouth to feed. Game time passes much more quickly than real time, and the different animal types are active at various hours - some during the day and some at night. Solomon's Key™

Description: Solomon's Key is an action/puzzle game that lets you control the wizard Dana, delving into a labyrinth to seek out a magical tome called Solomon's Key, an item that will help in your quest to drive away evil spirits let loose in the world. The goal of the game is to use the buttons to create and destroy blocks, and use various techniques to find keys to pass through doors. The game has appeared on a variety of platforms, but the arcade version focuses strongly on the action elements of the game, making it more challenging, and allowing players of all skill levels, from beginners to masters, to enjoy it. Settings like the number of lives and difficulty level can be adjusted.

Nintendo adds new titles to the Nintendo DSi Shop and the Wii Shop Channel at 9 a.m. Pacific time on Mondays. Users with broadband Internet access can redeem Wii Points or Nintendo DSi Points to download the games. Wii Points can be purchased in the Wii Shop Channel. Nintendo DSi Points can be purchased in the Nintendo DSi Shop. A Nintendo Points Card™ can be purchased at retail locations. All points from one Nintendo Points Card must be redeemed in either the Nintendo DSi Shop or the Wii Shop Channel. They are not transferable and cannot be divided between the two systems.

Ten games and I don't have too much interest in any of them.

Foto Face looks mildly interesting, though. If this were a slow time for games (and I didn't already have an overwhelming backlog), I'd definitely pick it up. However, it's merely a consideration right now.

I remember Greg talking about The Combatribes on RFN a few episodes ago--at least I think it was Greg.  Can't recall if he said it was good or not.

Bookworm was a guilty pleasure of mine back in the day.  I may have to check out the DSiWare version.

I would probably get Bookworm if I had a DSi.

Oh it's THAT Bookworm. Dammit. Stupid DSiWare and your awesome time-wasting games. If DigiDrive didn't own my time with the system right now, Bookworm would most certainly take over.
