Oh and if NOA dare removes content like those Japanese Pikmin songs then this is the ultimate finger they could give their fans. If the North American version of the game has LESS content then the Japanese version then we should be getting the damn thing first. There's no excuse, not one damn excuse we should have to wait an extra month for an inferior version of the game if Japan is getting the superior version in 2 weeks.
So the English version better have more content or at least the same amount of content as the Japanese version. Because if there's even one thing removed, even if it's just a sticker of some obscure Japanese only character nobody even nows about, that's still unexceptable, PERIOD
Frankly, if they take out some of the Japan only stuff I wouldn't care. But I doubt they would be doing that. Most of the assist trophies have been shown off in the US demos, and its been proven that the Brawl translating EVERY single aspect of the game, Japan only stuff included.
You know, the last few hours have been surprising. I know fans can be very personal when it comes to what they love, but the angst and rage the Brawl delay has caused has been SURPRISING to say the least. The amount of hate Nintendo is getting is almost as bad as when they revealed the Wii name.
It goes to show you that Brawl will perhaps be the biggest Wii game EVER. Fans never got this personal when Metroid Prime 3 and Galaxy were delayed, especially when Nintendo promised both of them would be launch titles. Hell, when Twilight Princess got delayed multiple times the amount of rage wasn't THIS big. In fact, most fans were happy that it got moved to the Wii!
Like I said earlier, this is Nintendo's fault for hyping the game. First, after they said that the game wasn't at E3 06 they surprised everyone with a trailer featuring Snake. Then, they keep quiet about it for nearly a year, then they unleash hell on Earth with the blog and its constant megatons. Finally, and what puts the final nail on the coffin, they dare to put a date on the game. Maybe Nintendo and Sakurai DID believe the game would be ready by then, but unexpected issues arose and had to delay it. But still, had Nintendo stayed quiet about the release maybe no one would be this upset now.
After seeing all the anger the delay has caused I am ready to believe that Brawl will truly be a Halo killer. The only other game I have seen which drives gamers to the point of insanity is Halo. True, Galaxy was celebrated, Bioshock was welcomed with open arms and Call of Duty 4 changed a formula, but NONE of them were able to stir gamer's emotions as Halo did, and Brawl could have the same effect on people.
Mark my words: Brawl will be the Wii game with the most cultural impact in the gaming community.
