I think they mention this because Wario is the only character who has a bona fide wardrobe change when he goes from Wario Ware to Mario Party/Kart/Tennis, etc.

There's literally a strong enough argument on both sides that it was probably necessary to give him both costumes.

Besides, most characters do have unique costume changes already, like Dark Link, Dark Fox and Ike's Sigurd colors.

I think they just meant that only Wario has this costume which make sense.

I said it once and I'll say it again; DON'T EXPECT ANYTHING SPECIAL TOMORROW.

I hate to be an ass about it but the way I see it Sakurai updates about whatever whenever he wants. He doesn't abide to special events and holidays. If he has something big, he'll post something big. If he doesn't, he'll post something to fill the spot.

I doubt that just because its Christmas tomorrow he'll go all out. In fact, I'll be surprised if he does.

Well, we now know that Sakurai hates Christmas.

Of course the music still made it a great updates, that was one sweet remix of Angel Island Zone.

God dammit. They give us the MUSIC for Sonic's level, but not the level itself...

And his final smash which we all already knew about.

And if Sakurai updates with Porkey, the scariest thing in the whole world is going to jump out of that box when he opens it...ME!

Yeah, I'm really enjoying the music from Brawl so far. The newest remix is quite good... hmm.. I wish we could have gotten a glimpse of the actual Angel Island stage we're going to be able to play on...

Final Smash updates have gotten so "bleh" for me as of late. I enjoy regular item updates more than those now.

"But its Christmas!", they said. "Sakurai will go all out!" they kept believing...

Now maybe they will listen to me when I say not to expect any special updates during holidays or special dates.

Awesome music. If that implies that there is an angel island level then I'm kind of surprised. If there would be any level for sonic, I would think green hill zone would be the obvious choice. Strange. then consider how Knuckles would be less fit for green hill zone....KNUCKLES FOR BRAWL?!

Yeah Knuckles will be in the game, but only as an assist trophy and a sticker. Maybe climbing a wall in the back ground.

Hey, if you check the The Musicians page, they have just added Jun Senoue to it, and credit him with the music for the Sonic Adventure series/Sonic Heroes. It seems that he'll be the one composing all the Sonic music then, which is great since Adventure 1 and 2 had some outstanding tracks in each game and the Angel Island remix was just amazing.

Anyone else find it funny how it's Nintendo that's gotten him to come back to do Sonic music, while Sega hasn't used him in the recent Sonic games and as a result the music has gotten worse for that series. Shows that Nintendo knows how to handle Sonic better then Sega does.

Can't wait to hear what the remixes of other Sonic songs will song like. Oh god, please let this game contain the Japanese version of Palmtree Panic Present and the Japanese version of Quartz Quadrant Present from Sonic CD. I would become Sakurai love slave forever if those songs get in the game.

Well the fact is Chasefox, according to Sakurai there will most likely be only 1 more 3rd party charcter. But I mean who really knows but them right? We may see 2 more, but still Sega is already represented by Sonic and I doubt any 3rd party will get more than one character in.

And Luigi Dude, you are on the money! Hopefuly this is a slow start in what will be Nintendo's take over of Sonic!

I'd give Tails and Robotnik better chances of being playable than Knuckles, and I don't give any of them any real shot of it.

That would fit his character perfectly. He should even beat the caller up if he was in range

Meanwhile, Tails as an assist trophy could announce, "Hey, I can help!", and proceed to grab the nearest opponent and fly off with them (to their death). Players could try and break free, but depending on how far the edge is your chances might not be too good. Even better, if you do break free there's a chance for him to regrab you before you touch ground, while shouting out something else insanely aggravating and annoying :p

Nice music, and it confirmed that the jungle level isn't for SR.

The only way it could possible get better if Angel Island the level side scrolled through all the level of sonic 3. It could happen....

I'm think Tail and Knuckle both would be great as characters, sonic need someone to fight against form his games. Metal sonic/Shadow/Amy would be ok too (even though they better fit for costumes of sonic), just use anyone else Sakurai and I will hunt you down!

Welp, the Wario Update was ok. Good to see an honest to goodness alt costume but, I'm not holding my breath for more of them out of the gate.
