General Gaming / RE:Windows Vista: Why?
« on: January 25, 2007, 06:50:29 PM »
Funny...I open My Computer and right at the top there is an option for "Uninstall or change a program". And really, is "Personalize" really that much different from "Display Options" or whatever it was in XP? You still get to it by right-clicking the desktop. Everyone likes to go out of their way to bash Vista, and most of them have no idea what other features there are besides the redesigned GUI. I won't go into anything long-winded about it because I've tried that already, people don't want to listen.

Oh, I should mention that I'm running Vista Ultimate.

Nintendo Gaming / RE:target holiday catalog

The catalog he's referring to is actually a catalog-type thing instead of a sales flyer, so there aren't any deals on what they're showing in it. I believe it's sent to anyone that has a Target credit card.

Nintendo Gaming / RE: Zelda Soundtrack
« on: November 08, 2006, 06:11:09 PM »
I'm going to have to pick this up, mainly just for the soundtrack It's been awhile since I've had a subscription, but my first subscription was in 1989, back when I was 5 :P I just noticed something on my subscription history though:

Quote

May 1989 (v.005)
March 1990 (v.010)
This subscription came with a FREE gift of a TIP POSTER which will be shipped soon.

It's a good thing that Tip Poster from 16 years ago is finally shipping!

Anyone that can't find them up at their local Target yet, they should be available by this coming Tuesday in any Target that's going to have them.

I don't know if this was mentioned and probably doesn't really have anything to do with "Thursdayton" but whatever that Nintendo Now thing was, this picture shows that screen too http://www.nintendo.com/e3_2005/slides_matt.html and go to picture 8

It looks like it was more of a Nintendo staff thing or the NP staff thing..

And look at 28 also, that's pretty cool

Just a little bit of news...I work at the Target store in Clinton Township, Michigan...and we aren't allowed to sell the SP until Sunday although we did recieve our shipment (20 cobalt, 20 platinum) today. Also, if you buy it at Target starting Sunday, you get Driver 2 Advance for free with it.
