A little more than two weeks later and the bi-weekly promise continues even though Neal forgot that he lined the show up on the same schedule as Radio Trivia. This week, PR Managing Editor Nick DiMola joins Neal and Luke as they chat about Nintendo's August lineup, recent downloadable titles, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Monster Hunter 3, and Guitar Hero.

Witness Neal and Nick bicker over Guitar Hero and Rock Band reviews! Listen to us guess the North American sales potential of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Monster Hunter 3! Notice as Neal doesn't try to describe the latest DSiWare Art Style game!

Since this is the second episode of the podcast, we welcome any feedback you want to throw our way.

You have a feed yet the second episode isn't on it....

Shhhh kraken.. dont hurt their feelings.

You should get it added to iTunes so you can get more listeners, only the other 2 NWR podcasts (RFN and Radio Trivia) are on iTunes right now.

We're working on it. Blame busy-ness.

No problem. I am using iTunes to listen to it (using the manual subscription method), but being on iTunes would expose it to people other than those who visit NWR.

i really enjoyed this episode and these podcasts. The Conduit released in June I think. Outside of that nothing else of note.

We were talking about first party games but yes Conduit was in June.

While Neal works on getting the Newscast listed in the iTunes store, you can easily add either feed to iTunes. Go to Advanced, then Subscribe Podcast, and just paste the feed URL. iTunes will automatically download the most recent episode and will catch new episodes as they are posted.

This podcast is starting to find its feet. Lukasz has a audio cadence like Alyson Hannigan from American Pie.

Alright, the podcast has been submitted to iTunes now. They say it'll take 1 to 2 weeks to show up in the iTunes Store, so everyone keep us posted when/if you see it show up.

Maybe instead of saying his last name, I'll just be like "Hey, didn't you do that thing with the flute?"

The Newscast is all up in the iTunes Store. Please leave us some feedback!

Roger that.  I've enjoyed these so far.  Keep it up!

I could stand this being weekly. Just sayin'.

Do you notice how my name pops up on the main site a lot in news and reviews? Yea, that would decrease dramatically if we did these weekly.

I tried that kind of (we recorded an episode last week with Luke and Zach), but issues prevented it from being able to be edited coherently.
After that debacle, the real Episode 3 (as opposed to the fake one) will hit sometime after the Metroid Prime Trilogy launch and feature an extended talk on the game with hopefully Nick and Zach. I'll also talk about Professor Layton.
It'll be real fun.

I've played both Strong Bad and Sam & Max on the Wii, and I can say with certainty that Strong Bad runs much, much smoother.

I bought Monkey Island on PC just because I really didn't like the poor performance of Sam & Max.

BTW, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Newscasts have been put on indefinite hiatus.

Everything okay with Neal?

I'm fine. There's nothing wrong with me. Just other things that are holding this back, such as that fickle beast called time...and school and work.

But we're going to need a cleanup on aisle three.

Understandable.  Good luck with all those things!
