One of the big ones is already out the door.

Another week, another round of big indie Switch titles from North America for your perusal. We've already had one come out this week with Severed, but the rest of the brigade looks strong as well with puzzle/strategy hybrid Ironcast, Phantom Trigger, and Rocket Fist out and most have reviews with us. (Severed, Ironcast, Rocket Fist). Nintendo Direct veteran Flip Wars - previously known as Project Mekuru - is also finally out for North America.

The Wheel of Morality that is the Arcade Archives landed on The King of Fighters 2000 this week, and there are two more TG-16 games for those like myself that have Wii Us still hooked up. The 3DS has a pricey RPG and the demo for Monster Hunter Stories - maybe this one ends the curse of the Monster Hunter demo?

Europe's got a similar release schedule so far, while Japan has a murder mystery, a Wii U and 3DS port that I *swear* already came out on Switch in North America but apparently didn't, and their own Monster Hunter demo.

Talkback

So, I've actually heard a lot of good things about the J.B. Harold Murder club games in that they were essentially a killer app for the PC Engine CD in japan. Sadly, while i know that all the voice acting in the series tends to be in english, I don't know how playable a point n' click criminal investigation series would be for an english speaking audience.

That being said, if it IS playable, and you're the type of person who loves the Phoenix wright games or Hotel dusk or such, J.B. Harold Murder Club might be one folks would want to check out on the japanese eShop.
