Slay some zombies, play some poker, and solve a mystery all with this week's Nintendo Downloads.

Every Nintendo device is receiving some downloadable content this week, in the form of an eShop original, a DSiWare game, and a WiiWare title.

The Nintendo 3DS's eShop got Zombie Slayer Diox this week. This rhythm based side-scroller action game has players join Diox, a samurai guitarist. In order to destroy the zombies, Diox must use his musical abilities in conjunction with his samurai skills. To see what we thought of the game, check out our review . Zombie Slayer Diox can be downloaded for $5.99.

Next, 1st Class Poker & BlackJack was added as a DSiWare game. Play many different kinds of poker including Texas Hold’em, Double Flop Hold’em, Omaha, and Pineapple. The game is available now for $4.99.

The last downloadable game this week is Carmen Sandiego Adventures in Math: The Island of Diamonds, available on the WiiWare service. Once again you can join Carmen Sandiego on a mystery, this time involving the theft of five priceless diamonds. The game can be downloaded for 600 Wii Points.

Lastly, a special Swapnote inspired by Nintendo's spokesdog Uggie is available this week. This special Swapnote is free, it just requires the Swapnote application to be installed on your 3DS.

Carmen Sandiego Adventures in Math: The Island of Diamonds (WiiWare™)

In addition to video games available at retail stores, Nintendo also offers a variety of content that people can download directly to their systems. Nintendo adds new titles to the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo 3DS™ system, to the Nintendo DSi™ Shop for the Nintendo DSi system and to the Wii™ Shop Channel for the Wii console at 9 a.m. Pacific time on Thursdays.

The Nintendo eShop is a cash-based service and features games, applications and videos in both 2D and 3D. Users can add money to their virtual wallets using a credit card or by purchasing a Nintendo 3DS Prepaid Card at a retail store and entering the code from the card.

The Wii Shop Channel offers games and applications and uses Wii Points™, which can be purchased via the Wii Shop Channel. The Nintendo DSi Shop offers games and applications and uses Nintendo DSi Points™, which can be purchased in the Nintendo DSi Shop. A Wii Points Card™ and Nintendo DSi Points Card™ can be purchased at retail locations. All points from one card must be redeemed in either the Wii Shop Channel or the Nintendo DSi Shop, respectively. They are not transferable and cannot be divided between the two systems.

This just might be the worst week in years for downloadables on Nintendo systems.

This would have been the perfect time to bring Of Myths and Monsters to the NA eShop. We would have had all the KI games on the 3DS at the same time (those who preordered, anyway). Shucks!

There have been worse weeks... but not by much. The games released here are undeniably weak.

That said, there is no lack of good content available. Why not check out an older game that you might've missed?
