Spy Hunter
It's 1983 all over again. You managed to put a dent in NOSTRA's plans once, sidetracking Daemon Curry until the next century. This maniac is not easily disuaded from his delusions of grandeur, thinking he's the one Nostradamous was talking about in his prophecies.
Now it's the present day, and Curry is once again hell-bent on conquering the world. With a brand-new series Interceptor, both classic weapons (smoke screen, oil slick, guns), a new arsenal, slick transformations, and a wicked updated "Theme from Peter Gunn" by Saliva, SpyHunter is a sure-fire hit for GameCube.
The PS2 version is out in stores, and spending a little time with the game, it's clear that Midway and Paradigm Entertainment have a winner. They've kept the game very true to the original, while updating it for the 3D generation. The new Peter Gunn Theme done by Saliva is quite a fresh change of pace, and fits the game extremely well.
There should be little problem porting the game to GameCube fully intact, but let's hope Midway adds some goodies for GCN owners.
