New Super Mario Bros.Nintendo DS

During the pre E3 2005 press conference Nintendo showed new footage of the 2D DS Mario title in development. The footage revealed a graphical style featuring a combination of 3D character graphics and 2D backgrounds. Mario will have many moves from Mario 64 in this 2D iteration (such as the back flip and wall jump). The game will feature new powerups such as the giant mushroom.
