Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Based heavily on Paper Mario for the Nintendo 64, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door features the same 2.5-D graphics that made the original so captivating. The subtitle refers to a magical door which seals away a Legendary Treasure. The gameplay expands on the concept of paper-thin characters, while new features make the battle system more complex and interactive. For example, Mario can now be folded up into a paper airplane for airborne travel.
