Give me a break. Show some kind of feasible proof, and then create a thread that makes any sense.
Well, if he had proof, would it be a rumor? He did say
rumors, did he not?

Second, Wind Waker's world was HUGE, easily one of the biggest open areas in a videogame I've ever played.
It is a huge area, but often nothing tangible transpires, its just traveling over open sea. And while i thought it was cool, there was little to do except open treasure chests that contained rupies I didnt need. I'd much rather have Hyrule just as big an open space as WW, but with some exploring intertwined. And when i say exploring, i mean looking for something to help the quest, not useless items.
As for cartoony versus realistic, i think its neither until WW. The first Zelda could hardly be called cartoony. In fact, none of them are except WW, which does a tremendous job of it. And when , while playing OoT, did you find yourself saying, this world looks so real? Never. Because it doesnt look like the
real world. So stop saying 'realistic', its way off base.
