Wow, Omen, you like Devo? Really?  They are my husband's all time favorite band.  I cannot believe the amount of Devo I have listened to in the last 14 years.  Part of he and I starting to date was because I was one of the few girls who would listen to Devo with him.

They have quite a bit of good music.  Some of it is really freaking weird but it has grown on me.  It's too bad that people remember them mostly for Whip It.

If anyone is to get into Devo, start with the '76 to 83 era.  Especially the releases produced with Brian Eno(who also pro. the late 70's Bowie albums.).  Some weird sh!t, and i love it.  Good party music too.

Why are you all still posting when you should be listening to Pain. Seriously, if you like anything remotely close to punk or ska (although they're not ska, and don't like it when people call them that), you'll love Pain. Look, they're not that popular, and I'm doing my best to support the band here- at least work with me, people.

Ok I feel very stupid that I have no idea who any of these bands are. Well I know a few, but for the majority, I haven't heard of them in my life.
Maybe it's because I have no life and I listen to untalented artists...

YES!! Britney Spears is releasing a new album! YES YES YES!!! (I seriously am excited for this)

I notice most people here are Rock types of people.

I'm more of an R&B Person (don't confuse this with rap): I like groups like Destiny's Child (including all their solo work), Monica, Alicia Keys and stuff liek that. Being from the UK, I like most of the R&B stuff thats come out over here: Sugababes, Mis-Teeq etc.

I enjoy almost all generes of music, but I especialy like live music. Bob Dylan was in my area earlier, and he put on a pretty good show. I have a dislike for overly commercial music, because I've never heard any that I like. Idiots trying to get kids to buy their album by swearing and singing/talking about drugs just make me laugh.

All around the world, there are many brilliant musicians, who don't recieve any interest from recording companies because their style of music isn't popular. To me it's important that I try to listen to as much different music as I can, and not let record companies dictate my tastes.

On another note, I found a good orchestrated version of the Goron city theme from OoT. If anyone wants it or can host it, just e-mail me at caillan@operamail.com.

All of them are pretty good.

But the eternal question is...

who is better?    Stevie Ray Vaughn or Eric Clapton (Answering Jimi Hendrix doesn't count.)

My Favorite favorite band is My Bloody Valentine. I love them. I've based my whole life around them... kinda. They make an awesome blend of noise and guitar. I Ebayed most of their Eps because they are non existant anywhere else. Its pretty sad everyone forgot about My Bloody Valentine.

From their first album around the mid 80's to their last album 91 they've grown amazingly. It all started with Ecstasy and Wine basically. Their songs just started to sound better. Then in Isn't Anything they totally go crazy (in a good way.) And finally, with Loveless, they blew out the whole shoegazer field. There is rumour that they are going to make another album, or rather finish Glider. Until then, i hope Stella Luna and Pia Fraus start going strong too.
