the bottled soda always comes in little freezers near the checkout lane, you can buy 6 packs or 12 packs or 24 packs in the soda aisle. I usually by a 6 pack. The second day of owning the 6 pack its gone :/ like today. Now I have to drink water.

Pepsi over Coke any day (for the taste not some conspiracy theory assassination story

). But we only have Coke in my house. And I don't like Vanilla Coke's aftertaste; don't say it doesn't have one!

I just said Pepsi Vanilla was okay, I didn't say that it beats Vanilla Coke. The best Vanilla Coke out there is the kind you order at a resturant that serves coke. Just ask them to add vanilla in your Coke and it tastes waay better than what they sell in stores. Almost like A&W Root Beer, they have resturants all around the U.S.A. ( very few left) and their Root Beer/Cream Soda is the best you'll ever try.

Pepsi over Coke. Yay. Vanilla Coke is awesome. Yay. So is the stuff with the lemons in it, like Lemon Coke, or lemon Pepsi. If I were a tree i would say "HROOOOOOOOM"

I'll take Coke over Pepsi anyday.
Sprite is also a favorite of mine.
Sadly we dont get much Coke as My mom drinks Pepsi.

Yeah, me too. I might have already said this, but my favorite soft drinks are Sprite and Cream Soda. And to get an idea of how popular Coke is down here (Louisiana), when someone asks you if you want a drink, they say "Do you want a Coke?" regardless of what beverage they're referring to.

Hostile, you're in LA too? I didn't think they were any more of us here. But anyway, back to the topic, you are really right about the Coke thing, it's hard to adjust when I visit my dad in Massachusetts.

Coke and Pepsi always copy off each other. There was Cherry Coke than Wild Cherry Pepsi. Pepsi Twist then Coke with Lemon. I drink whatever is avilable but most of the time its the Cherry version of Pepsi or Coke. My favorte pop by far is Dr. Pepper, which is also the best selling individual drink, and is owned by some Cadbury Schweppes company. Even the new Cherry flavored Dr. Pepper they just launched is good.

As for not drinking Pepsi products, that would mean not eating at Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, KFC, or A&W, as they all of those companies. Which is why you find only Pepsi products. I noticed they fazed Dr. Pepper out of Taco Bell and replaced it with their own Cherry Pepsi, which I'm sorta indifferent on. But hey, it could of been worse.

I think that Dr. Pepper is made by some division of Coke, though I'm not sure.

I never got that lemon thing. . . lemon in a cola? Dumb.

Jeez, I haven't seen an A&W for years! They have one of the very few root beers that I like...

Also, I think that it is easier to get Cream Soda in Britain than in the U.S. of .A! Although I usually use it to mix with other drinks if I get my hands on it.

A&W is primarilly a Canadian restaurant I think. I know that we have about 7 of them within a half hour drive of where I am right now. Hell, I used to work at one of them.

Bottled A&W Root Beer is distributed by Coca Cola.

we have A&W here in Arizona...their only crappy compared to the ones in the northern states. They dont exist on the East Coast really.

i forgot all about Surge until someone mentioned it. i used to drink massive quantities of the stuff when i worked at Best Buy. It had a great Jell-O-esque fruitiness to it; way better than Mountain Dew (and i used to be a big Dew drinker).

i don't drink many Coke or Pepsi products outside of regular Coke, which i'm strangely addicted to. Their sugar to flavor ratio is way too high. i prefer stuff from health food stores, or locally-made drinks. After the Fall, Journey, and R.W. Knudsen tastes better than the stuff you get from vending machines.

Dr.Pepper is owned by Schweppes. I agree the lemon cola thing is kinda gross. Pepsi tried this a long time ago in the 70's with Pepsi Light. It was a diet cola with lemon drink but I don't think they had a non diet version. I think it must have been the very early 80's when it died out but I don't quite remember.

I've switched to drinking only diet sodas. I was going through a six-pack or more of soda a day. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't keep the weight off, and it was because I just wasn't paying attention. 6 sodas at 120 calories a piece is over 700 calories, and it hasn't done you any good.

Anyway, I used to avoid them because they all tasted like crap. But I've started finding some drinks that actually taste pretty good for diet. Diet Barq's Root Beer is excellent, as is Diet Cherry Coke, Minute Maid Light Lemonade, and a drink called Cascadia. The Diet Mountain Dews are very good too.

Unfortunately, for as much as I liked Vanilla Coke, the diet Vanilla tastes horrid. Absolutely vile.

Rick, if you like root beer, try IBC. It is probably the best diet soda I have tried. My dad is diabetic so he cannot have ANY sugar and he drinks this stuff constantly because it is so close to the real thing.

I was raised on milk. I love it. My parents (actually, my mum) only let us drink soft drinks when we went out on the weekends, which is why it was such a thrill to be able to buy it at high school. It's not like I'm so sheltered or anything, but my teeth are perfect. Hahahahahaha.
