Ugh. I don't have time to introduce all these contestants. I'm just going to say that I hope they all lose and move on to the introduction that really matters.

Hello everyone watching and welcome to our Tournament of Failures. For the next couple weeks, our regular format is on hold as we play a very special tournament for the first time in our history. Instead of the usual assortment of very smart and intelligent players, we've collected 13 people that will make Celebrity Jeopardy look like our Tournament of Champions. Yet, one of these contestnts has the chance to redeem themselves and actually win something in their life if they can out last the other players through the massive Jeopardy rounds we have in store.

Where would you like to start, ShyGuy?

(For this game, the player choosing the bomb word for the round will first get to select a category which they can post here in the thread. Once the category is selected, I will send them a private message listing all the words that will be used for the category. The player will select one of the words from that list as the bomb word by replying to me with a private message. I will then post that list of words here in the thread and the round will begin with players choosing words from that list until the bomb word is located and a player is eliminated. This process will repeat until a winner is found. Everyone understands?)

I thought about trying to make some categories with hidden phrases but just went with more realistic ones instead. Unless a great coincidence has happened, there's nothing to search for.

Alex I'll take The Berenstain Bears: Trouble at School, the bears just feel sorta uncanny valley compared to the rest of 'em. I'm fine with Ducks, Rabbits or even Crayons as protagonists but bears rub me the wrong way.
