I thought it was good, but what's up with James Cameron totally jacking the story of Disney's Pocahontas?

Didn't Pocahontas move to England and eventually become a civilized English lady? Well, not in the Disney film, but Disney ripped it off from history after all.

Actually, the sea witch just sent them all to a strange land where, if they stay there too long indulging themselves, they turn into donkeys. =o

I have never seen anything Airbender-related, so I can't really speak to that. I enjoyed the James Cameron film for what it was.

but still, while I have high hopes for movie, I doubt it will compare to the series. The series is both funny and serious. I hope the movies retain that essence.

But the humor and the seriousness are like yin and yang on the show. One balances the other.
It's what made the overall package so entertaining and not just cool because they are bending elements.

Just like the mixture of humor and seriousness is what made Ironman so entertaining, and the lack of humor and nothing but seriousness made The Hulk(2003)not so entertaining.
