We should make it cartoons that they haved stopped making, even if they are on still.

If not, I've still got Kenshin (he used to come on the English version Samurai X, don't know if he's still on TV anoymore), Wally Gator, Top Cat, Yogi (yes I know they still show him for Christmas specials and all), etc, etc

I think we agreed on "obscure". The SMSS is old and no longer shown but definitely not obscure.

When did we agree on obscure? Zach is the only person who's mentioned obscure, and I'm not exactly where he got that from. TVman said "July is "Old cartoons that don't come on T.V. anymore" month".

And, for the record, I believe SMBSS is fairly obscure. I'm willing to bet the majority of the folks on this board have never seen an episode.

I never said that we should only do obscure cartoons, I said that even a lot of the cartoons that are obscure are still shown on cartoon network really late at night. The problem of only doing "obscure" cartoons is that there is no way to measure obscurity (is that a word?) so some cartoons like SMBSS are debatable.

PS My earlier post was a little confusing now that I look at it. sorry for the misunderstanding.

Ok from now on July is "Cancelled cartoons" month.
So any cancelled cartoon is ok, except Sealab 2021 because it could still make a comeback.
Futurama is also off limits because of how [adult swim] aggresivly airs it.
Shows still available are: Thunder Cats, Big O, the Critic, Duckman, Sailor Moon, Spider-Man the animated series, X-men, and anything thing else of that nature.

Darkwing Duck. God I loved that cartoon back in the day. But I'm sticking with SMBSS.

Tale Spin was good, too

Swat Kats kicked all kinds of ass. My sister and I loved that show. But for some reason, I can hardly ever find anyone else who has heard of the show, let alone seen it. It's the same for Small Wonder. Oh well.

IceCold: X-men and Spider-Man TAS are still on but they haven't had new episodes of either in ages. (I like to preten that MTV's Spider-Man cartoon didn't exist.)

Stevey: Sealab 2021 got did get cancelled but they still air although there aren't any new episodes comming. And are they really making new big O's? SWEET!!!

P.S. Cancelled means no new episodes are planned, NOT off the air.

You actually watched Swat Kats vudu? Nice - it's the same thing for me; not a single person has watched it for some reason - but whenever it came on when I was a kid I was glued to it.

OK remembered some more - how could I forget MUTLEY?!?!? And also all the characters in Scooby Doo's All Star Laf-A-Lympics, and oh yes, Johnny Quest (wow I forgot him too!).
