Noooo! I'm falling behind in story telling again. I told myself I wouldn't let this happen. The worst thing is, it isn't so much writer's block as wanting to write too much. I really love this source material. I will overcome this speedbump. I will. But I just need to catch up on sleep right now.
Quick Story Notes:
At the armory, Muldoon and other guests get armed. The carnage has convinced Hammond to enact Project Extinction but only on the carnivores. Project: Extinction is a sort of kill switch. All the dinosaurs are embedded with a capsule that when released will fatally poison the animal. Ian Malcolm admits its kind of eerie but this proves his chaos theory.
They join up with Arnold who informs the park failure has something to do with a program Nedry created that sent signals all the fences had power when it actually shut certain ones off at different times creating a path between the main compound and Hammond's private compound. However, there was an error in the code which resulted in the power loss and all fences going down. The program has crippled the correct maintenance software. Arnold thinks a reboot of the system might fix it. After some debate, they decide to try it. It fails and the system doesn't reboot at all. Now they can not enact Project: Extinction. Arnold thinks someone needs to go to the breaker room and restart the power from there. He, Muldoon and Ian agree to do it. Hammond, the kids and Ellie are going off to Hammond's compound to see if Nedry is there and because it has it's own power source and security.
Along the way to the breaker room, the T. Rex crashes out of the bushes and starts chasing the Jeep. Muldoon guns it and they create some distance but the storm has knocked a tree on to the road and they crash. They scramble out to hide but the T. Rex sees Ian and chases him. Ian runs to the edge of the cliff and has nowhere to go as the T. Rex faces him down. Suddenly Spielberg calls and says that Ian can't die as he will be the only one available for the sequel so instead, the stomping of the T. Rex causes the cliff side to collapse with Ian presumed dead only to find out in the sequel, he totally survived. The T. Rex howls at the cliff and turns away. Everyone knows that cliffs are the T. Rex's kryptonite.
Meanwhile Hammond and company come across a Jeep stick deep in mud. No one is in it but there are foot prints on ahead. Driving along, they come across a half eaten body. It was Toruresu, a top geneticist of Hammond's. He was killed by the raptors. Hammond worries to go on if the raptors are loose in the area. He decides to back up and meet with Muldoon.

I'll still give you this though even if no one is asking for it.
