I keep trying to figure out what all this shutdown business means, but I can't stop laughing at the word "boner".

In this case, the "boner" is a raging hard-on.

This raging hard-on is preventing the head from thinking straight and rational by redirecting all of it's attention to getting some(thing... anything really). This "boner's" sole purpose is to **** just about anything it comes across. The hard-on is in such a blind rage, that it doesn't even remember what it was aroused by in the first place.

They've tried stroking the boner to see if it would subside to no avail, but we suspect that someone took too many little blue pills and this boner has been raging for much longer than what could be considered healthy.

I think at this point, it would take a little "black magic" to prevent this "boner" from getting amputated. But since this boner wouldn't take his coffee black, and much less his magic, then I say just let the whole thing rot from the head down till it falls off.
