I didn't even think of square pizza pieces until it was stated in this thread. Pizzas are circular and cut in wedges. Like if I think of a pizza, that's how I always picture it. If I went to someone's house and they served pizza any other way it would initially catch me off guard.
Stuffed crust is where it's at so you pretty much have to go with wedges. Plus who doesn't eat crust that is over 10 years old? Fussy little kids don't eat crust. If you had pizza on a first date would you DARE leave your crust behind in front of her?
A friend of mine used to not eat his crust and his dad was shocked about that and said "the crust is the best part" to which my friend responded "no, because if the crust was the best part, pizza would be all crust!"
The idea of sharing pizza is somewhat foreign to me as the standard protocol with my friends is that each guy orders his own medium pizza as it is the only way to ensure everyone gets enough slices and that there is no squabbling about toppings. I only share pizza with girlfriends or when I'm with people outside my core group of friends.
