The Wii U version of BioWare's Mass Effect 3 (announced at this year's E3), will include the recently released Extended Cut content on the game disc.

Speaking with Siliconera, series producer Michael Gamble noted that the free, downloadable Extended Cut package, which adds endgame content in the form of new scenarios and explanatory cut scenes, will be bundled in with the base Mass Effect 3 game when it releases on Wii U.

"The extended ending is basically going to be part of the game instead," Gamble said. "You won’t have to download it."

All the DLC should just be a part of the Wii U version plus something new. Like an actual suitless Quarian not that stolen pic from the internet they tried to pass off as one.

I liked Tali's portrait...although her hands didn't seem quite right. What would be absolutely rad is if they bundled the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 (where you make decisions on the major plot points from the first game as they summarize the story thus far for you) with Mass Effect 3 for those (many) Nintendo fans who have no clue what is going on and is just jumping in at the end. Or at least as a collectors edition. 


But I agree that all the DLC, most notably 'The Arrival', should be included on disc and UNLOCKED when the game ships on WiiU.

It was terrible.  Its a Human.  Come on.  The Qurian should be more alien.  They should be more like the Geth, because robots tend to mimic there masters in look.  Even there Suits indicate a Geth like structure.  It was a cop out.  Plain and Simple.  They even Copped out on the Geth level when you were looking at the History files.  They just don't want to design the race.

This was pretty expected, as I doubt EA wanted to go through another round of complaints about the ME3 ending.  I'm curious whether the Javik DLC will be packaged with the game, along with the multiplayer DLC that's been released so far.  I can't say I altogether liked Javik in Mass Effect 3, but his presence during certain situations in the game lends some important perspective to the events.

Yeah, I always forget about the PC as a gaming platform.  It's not my platform of choice for this game, but if you don't have a 360 it's a perfectly valid substitute.

Given the total lack of any of the previous games on the Wii U, as well as the fact that connectivity between the three games is a very big deal, I'm going to say that this will be the least definitive version of Mass Effect 3.
