NWR forums needs ban bets

Bet your account over something and if you lose you get banned for a specific period of time.

We just need an irresponsible mod to enable this reckless behavior...

I thought the title was "NWR forums needs to ban bets", which led to two subsequent thoughts: 1. There are bets going on? 2. That could be the greatest idea anyone had about anything.  :cool;

I thought this would be a bet over who was going to be banned next. If such a bet were to exist the mods would have to be excluded, because they have the power to make someone have an "accident" and disappear under mysterious circumstances, so they would be able to rig the whole wager thing in their favor.

I like this idea, but I'm going to tweak it a bit, in that people can be forced into these bets without their consent by moderators.

To start us off, I bet ShyGuy's account that the Wii U will come out November 18.

Maybe RFN will do another live event for charity the day before Wii U releases like they did last year for Skyward Sword. Remember that the last hour of the last event was basically somewhat-drunk talk of the Wii U.


It'd give the hosts an excuse to keep juicy private stories from the rest of us peasants.

I have a ban bet.

I bet that till the end of this year broodwars, chozo, and ian will write more words than all the staff members combined.

If I'm right, then I get a Wii U and any post that goes over 100 words gets deleted and the user banned.
