A few more things that just came to mind.

Nintendo 3DS will be getting a revision announcement a little after E3, I think it will still be in June.  Remember Iwata said "By the end of the next fiscal term, we won't be selling the system below cost."  So I say a new version is coming.  Not like you can just jack the price up without some sort of retribution.  Or maybe they just plan to bundle it with a game, and increase the price by 30 dollars.

If Nintendo just ups the price, than fans will be pretty upset.  Especially the ones who haven't bought it yet. 

Just give me Paper Mario, Luigi's Mansion, NSMB2 and a Golden Sun sequel and you'll have my money, Nintendo.

im going to have to say they will probably announce a 3DS revision, i've been expecting this announcement since 3DS was announced. Mainly because I bought a DSphat and this screwed me over when dslite, dsi ds xl were all announced. If im going to buy the handheld, im only going to buy one version of it. I think this revision will have the second thumbslider built in. That way i dont have to buy the stupid attachment, and those that have an old 3ds can either buy the attachment or upgrade entirely. It may also have some other features that you don't get with just the attatchment/old 3ds combo..maybe it will be a phone? bigger upper screen? dual touch?

Have you owned the Super Nintendo?

No, actually, I haven't, but I have no real desire to. There are games on the system I love (Super Metroid and Yoshi's Island are among my all-time favorites), but there's a lot of stuff there I just don't care about (I'm not much of a JRPG fan, and I believe my disdain for Super Mario World and Zelda: LTTP is fairly well documented at this point).

I'd be more willing to guess this is an indication that they aren't coming out with a revision.  My guesses for this comment would be more based on them streamlining their production of the current model, as well as possibly higher order QTY of components for better price breaks from their vendors now that the demand for the product is increasing.

My answer: $299.99

2) And when will the Wii U's Launch Day be?
My answer: Sunday, November the 18th, 2012

3) Your #1 Desired Launch Day Game?
My answer: I want to say Pikmin 3, but just in case, I'll say New Super Mario Bros. Mii.

4) Any pleasant third-party surprises for the Wii U?
My answer: Resident Evil 6 will be announced for Wii U, complete with awesome sauce RE4Wii pointer controls.

5) Any predictions of media criticisms for Nintendo's behavior/substance during E3 Week?
My answer: The usual focusing on what's not there (possibly Unreal Engine 4, no iOS games, etc.) instead of what is.

6) What'll be your preferred food & drink of choice during the Nintendo Conference?
My answer: Soda/water and chips/candy/sandwich. Not too much that I vomit from joy afterwards.

7) How long will the Nintendo Conference go on, and what'll be the breakdown on time spent between Wii U amd 3DS?
My answer: 70 minutes: 10 minutes on Wii/DS farewells, 25 minutes on 3DS, 35 minutes on Wii U.

8.  Predict:  rate the Wii U Launch lineup from 1 (worst) to 10 (best).
My answer: With Assassin's Creed, Rayman, Mario, Pikmin (hopefully), and more, I'll say... 8.5.

9) Predict: any final hardware revelations?
My answer: Will launch in black as well.

10) Predict: any super-special applications that Nintendo's gonna spring on us?
My answer: A surprisingly robust online setting.

11) Predict: who's the Nintendo fan most likely to be banned from this site during E3 Week?
My answer: Me.

12)  Wild-card prediction:  anything else?
Nintendo will revive a super obscure franchise/Microsoft gets rather poor actors to demo Kinect (again)/Sony chops the Vita price down to 200 smackers.

Nintendo can sell the 3DS below cost because the price of components will be significantly cheaper by then. It has nothing to do with a revision or remodel.
