I think a comical video where the Mii keeps trying to join in but is rejected by the characters until one of them finally yells out, "NO! No Miis! I sick of those guys!!" and storms off would be hilarious.

Mii could be a really cool character if it is essentially a create-a-character.

- Super Mario 3D Land 2.

Instead of this or in addition to it they should make Wario Land 3D, because the original Wario Land on the Gameboy was actually the 3rd Mario Land game.

Oh I'm not saying I particularly want it.  Just that I think it will be announced.  Honestly if I could have any game in a Mario type series, I personally would want to go back to something more explorative and open like Mario 64.

I loved super Mario 3d Land, it just wouldn't be my first pick to have a sequel to.

:)  I just think they will though.

Reasons for why Resident Evil 6 could be announced for the Wii U:

  • Nearly every single Resident Evil game is a available for a Nintendo system, so why should the Wii U be any different?
  • The sales figures of Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition.
  • If Resident Evil Revelations is a success then Resident Evil 6 on Wii U is certainty.
  • The sales figures of Monster Hunter for the 3DS and the fact that Capcom trusts Nintendo with an already popular franchise (in Japan) adds even more credence to the RE 6 being on Wii U.

I don't think anyone really doubts that RE6 will see some sort of release on Wii U.

I predict everyone will overhype E3, but will come away somewhat disappointed, like they do every year.

Last year when I was watching E3 live I was disappointed from the moment Reggie revealed the name of the new console. I might end up disappointed this year, but I doubt it could be as bad as last year's.

My Predictions for E3

Nintendo 3DS
- New Metroid game announced 2D or 3D
- New 3D Zelda game is announced by Grezzo
- Paper Mario and Animal Crossing are re introduced
- Snes games  and possibly N64 games are announced for the eshop (No GBA, yet)
- Miyamotos New Project is revealed

Wii U
- The current name stays
- The controller sees a slight redesign possibly with multitouch?
- Pimin 3 as a launch title
- New Super Mario Bros Mii as launch title
- Robust Online service is shown available at launch, hopefully
- Releases in August 2012 at $299 or $349 any higher it would not sell
- Gamecube games will be available to digitally download

3rd Party support will be there in great amount for the Wii U and the 3DS

Is it possible there could be a low end WiiU SKU which doesn't include the $80 tablet? This low end SKU could possibly hit the $249.99 price tag, and it could be the version marketed to casuals. Instead of the tablet it could come with a Wiimote and nothing else, but it should still be possible for the consumer to purchase a tablet separately later on. This would be the equivalent of the Xbox360 Arcade model.

Ugh, without the tablet? That would splinter the market, and basically remove every reason for why Nintendo would make the new hardware from a creative standpoint to begin with.

The tablet controller isn't driving the cost of the hardware up significanty. In terms of parts, it's pretty much the collective Wii controller with a magnetometer and a screen, the latter being the priciest piece. It currently costs Nintendo less than $10 (possibly less than $5 at this point) to make a Wii Remote Plus. The tablet controller will probably cost less than $30 to manufacture. The screen isn't state of the art technology. Like 3DS, it probably won't use Gorilla Glass.

More importantly, there's no point in having this new controller if it isn't packed with each console.

Here's my Wii U prediction for E3.

-New Super Mario Bros Mii is a real game now with HD visuals

-Pikmin 3 is finally shown

-Sequel to Donkey Kong Country Returns

-New Wii Sports game for the Wii U

-New Wii Fit for the Wii U as well

-A racing game from Monster, either a new game or a revival of an old Nintendo racing series.

-A new Wario Ware game taking full advantage of all the tablets features

-Monolith Softs Wii U title will be reveal(this is quite likely since they've already confirmed they're working on a Wii U game. http://andriasang.com/comwku/monolith_wiiu/)

-New game from Good Feel will also be shown

-Small CG trailer for next Smash Bros will be shown to give people an idea what the Wii U might look like but no gameplay since I doubt they'll have much done by E3 if Sakurai just finished Kid Icarus now.

For third parties it's not worth predicting anything specific since we know it's going to be port city.  Basically any upcoming multiplatform game will get a Wii U port and that's about all I expect from them.  Except for a few niche Japanese games that usually become exclusive to Nintendo platforms for a while.
I’m gonna have you play every inch of this game! - Masahiro Sakurai

I'll try to keep it as realistic as possible:

-No name change for the Wii-U but a redesign of the console itself (it looks far too similar to the Wii...and too much like an Apple product :yuck:)
-Obviously, the complete details of the Nintendo Network
-Given the boom in 3DS sales, I expect a slew of 3rd party announcements (Money hungry Activision is probably prepping some sort of CoD game)
-A Pokemon MMO (I know, I know!) considering the new network being much more robust and the franchise just FREAKING BEGS for it to happen.
-SSB wont be out until 2014, simultaneous launches on both platforms.
-Pikmin will rape faces on launch day w/ online multiplayer to boot!
-The new Miyamoto game will be a launch title as well

And what I wish will happen:
-Retro is working on Star Fox for Wii-U (it's very possible)
-New F-Zero once again developed in tandem with Sega
-Nintendo announces it's first in-house developed FPS (I've always wanted their creative/whacky minds to make one)
-Zelda Wii-U is well on it's way and will feature a MASSIVE game world, like an entire planet, instead of the limited scope of the land of Hyrule/Skyloft (still no voice acting)

Oh and I also expect a pre-black Friday launch with an MSRP of $349 USD.  For Europe and Australia...you will continue to get reamed in the butt with higher prices.  (just a hunch)

Lame.

I predict Iwata and Reggie will dress up as their favorite Pokemon, Squirtle vs. Psyduck, and beat the living **** out of each with foam bats and super soakers, confusing us yet exciting us to the point of giving the younger crowd their first boner. After Reggie lay twitching on the floor, Iwata will yell "I HAS POKEMON MASTER!" And then a video will play showing kids buying little NFC-enabled pokemon dolls and transferring them into their TouchU and playing what looks like a Pokemon MMO. The crowd will cheer. Fat ugly women will flash their boobies. Our very own NWR staff will fight each other for a better view, leaving one dead (Insanolord most likely since he's a rookie).

Little does everyone know, Nintendo just modded Skyrim to look cute and theirs no actual game in production.

Nintendo will announce Mother 4 for WiiU to be release last tuesday along with remakes of Mother 1-3 for the n64DD. and then announce the vitality sensor for the WiiU  along with the title "wii live", details will be scarce but it will be speculated that you win the game if you have a pulse.  Nintendo announces that they bought all I.P rights from Sega and will make a sonic game that doesnt suck, along with a new jet set radio and shenmue. Production budget will be so big it would require everyone in the world to buy a wiiU to recoup costs.  Nintendo will announce that they re-hired  Cammie dunaway, she will then take the stage to demo a new casual title, "F-U". They will announce the "4DS" which it will grant you the ability to travel through time and space. Along with a new i.p: Nintendo allstars: xtreme beach volleyball directed by Tomonobu Itagaki.
