Am I the only who thought after reading this headline that this was a confirmed detail for paper overlays on the Cafe controllers?
That's exactly what I thought too! I figured it would be like the Atari Jaguar's cut-outs that came with some games, since the controller had so many buttons.

Anyways, here are my guesses. I'm going to assume this is just for the main controller, and not including any kind of attachment like the Nunchuk.

Face buttons: 5 (A, B, +, -, Home. I don't count the power button)
D-pad: Y
Dual analogue sticks: N (just one, methinks)
Rumble: N (it'll wreck the screen)
Screen: Y
Camera: Y
Speaker: Y
Triggers: 2(Z, C)
I.R: Y
Microphone: N
Rechargeable battery: Y
Motion sensors: N (this'll be an attachment)
Your idea: A connector for attachments, something like the Wiimote or maybe even the Wiimote itself.
Your idea: A stylus and holder.
Your idea: It can still use AA batteries if desired.

There was a prize? I thought it was just for fun.

When I first checked this thread there wasn't even a competition, it was just a cut out controller card.

It's just for fun - with the chance of getting a small prize.

To win I need Haptics, Vitality, and Temperature to suddenly manifest itself.
I want that Toy.  I need something to replace my Pooh in a Hamster suit Lanyard I used on my DS Phat for my 3DS.
Need a Personal NonCitizen-Magical-Elf-Boy-Child-Game-Abused-King-Kratos-Play-Thing Crimm Unmaker-of-Worlds-Hunter-Of-Boxes
so, I don't have to edit as Much.

I didn't count for a Power button, Selet button and Dual Analogs (Face Palm). I slept on Trigger buttons too. Oh well, at least the actual product turned out better than I thought it would.

I got 7/15. The first and third of my ideas could still happen since they might be revealed later, but that wouldn't help much.

The answers are here at last - the champion has been decided!

Face buttons: 8 (A, B, X, Y, Start, Select, Home, Power)
 D-pad: (Yes)
 Dual analogue sticks: (Yes)
 Rumble: (Yes)
 Screen: (Yes)
 Camera: (Yes)
 Speaker: (Yes)
 Triggers: 4 (L, R, ZL, ZR)
 I.R: (No)
 Microphone: (Yes)
 Rechargeable battery: (Yes)
 Motion sensors: (Yes)
 My idea: Sensor Strip, interacts with Wii Remote
 My idea: Stylus & holder
 My idea: Infra Red Receiver (unknown use, possible data transfer)
My idea: Headphone Jack
My idea: Connector Port (unknown use, however not for Wii accessories)

I guess that's 17 possible points!

Unknown as of June 2011:
*No I.R  (i.e for a pointer) but an I.R receiver like the 3DS.
*Internal memory is a possibility, as the Wii had a tiny amount for Mii storage.
*The controller may or may not have a dock or charge stand.

Results:
The Unagi = 0 ;-P
Crimm = 1
RABicle = 5
Taffypool = 6
Bman87301 = 6
Shaymin = 6
Mop it up = 7
UltraClayton = 7 points
Killer_Man_Jaro = 8
jrlibrarian = 8
TheFleece = 9
UncleBob = 9
BlkPaladin = 10
BlackNMild2k1 = 11
Ceric = 11

Tied!

I would argue that I had 10 points.  "My idea: Multiple configurations/expansions" - between the expansion port on the bottom of the controller and the different options (Stylus, alone, with Wii Remotes, with Balance Board, etc.), I'm thinking I should have gotten this point.

But it doesn't matter, since I can't prove it has internal memory yet.  Even though we know it will, since the Wii Remotes now have internal memory... :D
Just some random guy on the internet who has a different opinion of games than you.

Also the remote has a Sensor Strip that i assume is an IR strip (like the sensor bar) that I also assume interacts with the Wiimote like the Golf demo showed. That is what I assumed you meant by IR in the original post.

that should give me a 12th point.
Not sure if that makes a difference though.

edit: I also realize that headphone jack should have been one of my extras as it was something that I mentioned it should have in a different thread. Too late for that now though.

edit2: Looking at your update it seems like you meant an IR Camera for pointer precision like a wiimote though.

Hehehe, Megabyte you made it look like I was going for some deep meaning behind the prize!

(I'm not that deep)

HOW DID I GET A POINT!?

Either:
A) Because you said 'no' to everything and that was correct, once.
B) Because I wanted to mess with your mind.
