So I just saw a story on AC360 about the latest super tornado and what damage it has done to the middle of Missouri. He featured a story, a crazy story about this kid who's gone missing.
This is the story...
Hearing the threat of a super tornado on the radio, this family hurries to get home together. The mother and daughter were ahead in one car, while the father and son were following about 30 secs apart in another. The women of the family make it home, grab their dog and head to the basement. The father soon calls asking them to open the garage door. This is where it gets a little murky, granted the daughter and mother were emotional when they told it. They lost communication with him and didn't know what happened until they received word he was in a hospital. When they arrived to the hospital, he told them that the last thing he remembers is his truck flipping end over end; i.e. not barrel-rolling. They asked him where their son and brother went and he told them this....
He saw his seatbelt snap, the sun roof shatter, and then tried to grab him before he was sucked out into the sky. That's when the car flipped one more time and he lost consciousness.
Sucked out into the sky?! Holy ****.
Now the latest is that they found the son. They didn't give any details on where, which I hoped they would because I'm incredibly curious to see how far he traveled. He's been transferred from one hospital to another in a major city which I think indicates some sort of transplant surgery. He's alive though. I hope he makes it, not only because he's a fellow human being, but I want him to be able to tell that story. And when he does I bet people will say...
Holy **** that can't be true.
