It's Ezio.  Again.  I'm sick of him and his time period, so I'm going to be sitting this one out.  Besides, buying this game is just rewarding Ubisoft for being lazy and milking a once-promising franchise.

Yeah I would have liked to see a switch to a different time as well. Honestly, ever since I started playing the series I've always wanted it to go Eternal Darkness on me; playing as multiple people through multiple time periods.

"buying this game is just rewarding Ubisoft for being lazy "  Not to mention it's the 4th game in the series and the game really needs something refreshing.

They killed Splinter Cell the same damn way, one release after another without improving the game much.  Sure small changes where made but it all felt the same.

In Splinter Cell's defense, Conviction was pretty awesome and a big step in a new direction for the series, and I usually hate the Splinter Cell games.  But the way Ubisoft has just killed the Assassin's Creed series with these constant and unnecessary new releases is very disappointing.
