We are talking about Project M fan patches right? I'm not even sure why you even asked this question, M stands for Melee.

Just go to the website and click about. Take for example the Project Goal "Project M hopes to achieve a game similar to Super Smash Bros. Melee in many respects. .......In short, Project M aims to capture the essence of what made Melee a truly great game in our eyes. " The goal of the project was to make Brawl more like Melee. Okay, okay, that's fair. What changes are "regressive" though? Improving balance and ditching slips are objectively good, and afaik they still have the new Brawl stuff like being able to do an action after air-dodge (probably my favorite thing about Brawl).

They changed the balancing to what THEY wanted, that doesnt mean they fixed it. Melee had its own balancing problems (and Melee was full of glitches). Stuff like wave-dashing was not a feature, it was a glitch and Melee fans whined because it was fixed it Brawl.

MS's having it's Fighter's Sale deal going on tomorrow (3/4) for Xbox's GoD--some good deals:
Mortal Kombat 9 $20 (cheaper at GS plus you can buy the Komplete edition which was 4 extra dlc characters and skins)

MK vs DCU- $5 (cheapest I've seen this one yet)

Street Fighter 4 - 10 (don't bother since the AE version is the same price)

Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition - $10 (fook I already own in on PC/PS3 but that's still one hell of a deal)

Street Fighter X Tekken -20 (don't bother--you still have to fook over another $20 to get the on-disc DLC code)

Tekken 6 - $10 (about the same price as the disc version)

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 - $ 20 (good deal)

KOF 13 - $10 (you still have a few dlc characters to buy but they are mostly carbon copies of characters you already have so--decent deal).

Hey Super old question and new question.

When people in Tekken constantly sweep me before I can get up. I have to do a quick get up/roll/whatever and low block right? Sometimes I swear their attacks move so much faster than my character can even attempt to get up.

Also I want to get up with a kip up. That's what I call it in real life, where you spring up on both feet kicking at the same time. How do I do that? Hold back and both kicks when I hit the ground?

Sometimes you can roll away, sometimes you can get up and block in time, sometimes you can't do anything. Sometimes you can hit a kick button to get up and give them the business. It really depends on each situation.

If you can stand fast enough, you can parry a low attack by tapping diagonal down/forward and get freeeeee hits.

Hold forward when you get knocked back, before you hit the ground

Wow, now they have 3 characters, and 1 remixed character. 4 new stages, Mane 6 gets Skullgirls Engine. That is an amazing accomplishment. And the success of this will instantly get Skull Girls more rep everywhere. I really want to get in on this game.

What is amazing is 4 new characters back in the day used to be a sequel. So, we are basically get enough new content to be a sequel to the game.
