Gamestop has Madcatz WWE Fightstick (mid-range fightstick) on sale for $29.95. Looks like sold outonline but they might have them in your area. I have to call myself about the PS3 and only one store (might) have one in my area (out of 6 stores no less).

I dunno. I'm impressed that such a small team made such an impressive fighter, but...the art style doesn't agree with me, and I'm not good at technical 2D fighting games.

Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection is up on Steam now. The release isn't late or anything. Still, maybe decent sales will prod WB into releasing MK9 for the PC.

So my cousin picked up Soul Calibur 5. Didn't like the new costumes for my boy Raphael, a few characters aren't too crazily dressed, suprisingly enough. I'm not one over by any of the new characters yet.

The character creation tool is improved, and a ton of fun. How do we unlock more costume pieces?

Bought SCV for a steal thanks for a colleague. I paid $20 for it--that's about right. I blew through the annoying "story" mode in about an hour, which unlocks a lot of stuff. The game just doesn't feel as meaty as it needs to. There's not really a good alternate solo mode (like Tales of the Sword or the SC2 map-based thing) so it doesn't last long. The game's entire purpose is to showcase the admittedly impressive character creater and online functionality. The new characters are dumb. The cheesecake factor is WAY down. Ivy is COVERED UP. Sophitia's kids are THE WORST HUMAN BEINGS ALIVE.

That said, if anyone wants to play online, I'm game.

Yeah, Sophitia's son is supposed to be the hero, but he is horrible. He murders innocent people in the first five minutes of story mode.

Street Fighter x Tekken shows off a few more characters, as well as confirms the PC release date. There is a huge time discrepancy between it and the console release dates, however. Given that I'm still waiting for the SSFIVAE 2012 patch, it's not surprising. Now where is my UMvC3?
